Actually, Sneako did with Neon what Jake Paul and Bradley Martin should have done with him. I was actually impressed by his maturity and he obviously likes Neon.

He was a really good partner. he landed a hard body shot that made me think it might’ve been too hard but in all honesty, it just showed neon that he can get hurt, recover, get back to work, and have even more to be proud of because of the adversity of having that happen, PLUS being gassed, and pushing through that pain and discomfort when you want to quit, but don’t.

Bro 11:08 is so wholesome. Too many people have no idea what this feeling is like, and they avoid it because it’s scary, and fair play to em, but I wish they all knew the actual feeling they were going to get AFTERWARD. It’s a feeling you will never know about until the work is done, no matter how long you’ve been training for, the initial dread is always stronger than the thought of the outcome, but then the work gets put in and the outcome always feels so worth any pain endured. It’s a never ending cycle, you must initially learn what’s on the other side, and suffer willingly to get there❤️ every day

There is absolutely no reason for someone as inexperienced as Sneako to be training with his hands down like this. People will PREACH about technique in punches and making sure you train with good form, but won't do the same with defense. Fact of the matter is, your hands should be in a higher position when you are in punching range and relax more when you are out of range. You will not see every punch coming and won't always have time to react because it needs to be instinctual. Head movement will just happen at times by building muscle memory. This is because learn there are onky certain combinations/Counter punches coming and you are already moving out of the way of the most likely, for instance, after throwing the 1-2, I automatically roll under because I know the most likely return punch is a check hook. Head movement should also still be practice with your hands up to get used to it because you wont see every shot. If youre thinking, youre always going to be a half step late. Perfect the basics of defense before you train bad habits by sparring someone below your level and getting cocky. Also he is getting in the bad habit of pulling back with his chin in the air, he will get slept really quick with that. Defense and footwork are the hardest things to master, yet the thing people work on the least. Additionally, sneako may have power on the mitts, but those mitts weren't punching back. Different world in a hard spar or fight

@jaredy.41169 ай бұрын
He's sparring with a beginner. If you want to practice higher-risk movements, sparring with newbies is the PERFECT time to do dumb shit.
@JustinAdamsMusic4099 ай бұрын
@jaredy.4116 you should always practice technique. Muscle memory is created be repetition of the same movements over and over. Boxing training is a grind because it is a lot of drilling. You train how you fight, very simple. The same reason why training on the heavy bag is not a good training tool unless you are technical, you build habits of being lazy by not moving around the bag or occasionally working aspects of your defense like catching a shot and countering on the bag. It's just stupid.
@SaVaGe-5139 ай бұрын
There’s absolutely no reason someone as inexperienced as sneako is to be training someone either lol I don’t have a problem with showing neon a couple things but I hope that’s as far as it’s going and let a real coach teach neon.
@JustinAdamsMusic4099 ай бұрын
@jaredy.4116 also he's inexperienced himself. Sparring is about practicing new techniques that you'll use in a fight but don't try and practice advance tactics when you're also at a beginner level. Common fucking sense.

Always loved boxing since i was like 5 and used to watch Rocky movies and throw myself around the living room like i was in with clubber lang. I think the issue for me was i didnt start until i was about 20/21 and id discovered alcohol and cigarettes by then, so the fitness levels i had as a teenager were ruined, and then i boxed on and off all through my 20s but more off than on and just never managed to get the consistency needed to take it seriously (working shifts and having fun). I always wonder what could have been if id been allowed to start in my pre-teens or teens when i wanted to but mum didnt like it. Even in my mid 20s, and i guess even now in my mid 30s, i have fast hands and power behind them, good head movement and footwork, always turned heads in the gym and got comments from coaches and other guys training, but the cardio was just never there for more than 2 or 3 rounds to be able to maintain it. In my teens i was a box to box midfielder/winger/wing back, played football, basketball, and rugby, so was training or playing a match nearly every day, id do 100m, 200, 400m, 800m, and 1500m for the school, and cross country too a couple of times. That version of me could go for days. If i ever have kids, one thing ill never do is stop them from trying any sport or hobby they want to try, no matter their age. I hope these lads (sneako and neon) do take it seriously, even if they dont compete, because as you say, its also character building and confidence boosting. They can both be idiots from what ive seen of them, like proper little nob heads, but this kind of sport can bring out the best in people. Fingers crossed.

As much as i hate sneako and neon, I'm totally rooting for a redemption arc from both of them. It would be cool to see them make a turn around.

I don't know Sneako personally, I've only seen clips of him on the internet being a goofball, I've seen clips of him being stupid, and I've also seen clips of him being smart and saying logical things. When he sparred with Sean Strickland and got destroyed, it was intense but I personally think it was necessary. Fighting at the end of the day, means someone is going to get hurt, and you can't learn to be a fighter if you don't ever get hurt. That's the reality of the sport. In that clip, it looked like Sneako had good form, good techniques, could take a hit, and walk out with a pretty good attitude all things considering. And he's still fighting. Maybe he was angry afterwards, I don't know. The point is, now that Sneako knows what a fight is like, it's highly unlikely he's going to panic in the next fight. Now it looks like he wants to help this Neon kid be better as well. That's what it's all about. As soon as you break out of that shell of hitting someone without want trying to hurt them, Martial Arts and fighting are much more enjoyable and fun. It's not about beating up others who are smaller and weaker to prove you can fight, it's about being better than you were the day before and helping others achieve the same. It looks like Neon has a long road ahead of him, but if he surrounds himself with people who care about him and push/challenge him, he's gonna do great. I don't want either of these guys to stop fighting; it's time for the guys of this generation to stop being boys and start being men.
