Recently got into boxing last year. I enjoy watching sparring between athletes just as much as these flashy fights. Good sparring, I wish I would have started much younger learning how to box. It's great exercise, and I think people should learn how to fight and protect themselves. I'm tempted to go to a gym myself rather than shadow boxing out in my driveway.

I can see the main differences here compared to european or even Cuban Amateur boxing. American Amateurs box like they are in the pro game, may be is why they transition to the pros better than Europeans. But if I'm being super honest without being disrespectful, these boys would find it difficult to box elite amateurs from europe. The footwork, pace and volume is on another level. Great video by my man 🥊😎
@FalseProphetFallacy Жыл бұрын
The amateurs from europe and cuba run circles around boxers from ANY other country. That’s the purpose of their native styles, actually. Score points and don’t get hit, get a knockdown if you see an opportunity.

Big problem for black man is that he needs to learn how to do interior pelvic tilt to be more stable overall
@OfficialParallel8 Жыл бұрын
Do you have a video link you can reference of what you’re talking about? Like a training video for this topic?
@nalm7120 Жыл бұрын
@@OfficialParallel8Hi, I could not find any video that explains what I have mentioned but I can try to explain it. A lot of men today have same problem as the black guy on the video and it is caused by a lot of time spent sitting, and it's very visible in such a situations as "going in and out" - in this situation our guy is wobbling if thats the word in english. People with anterior pelvic tilt have a bit of a belly on the bottom of a stomach - usually where the shorts starts (when you go to the pool you will see a lot of skinny guys with "fat" on the bottom of the stomach), I know this guy has it. I think this guy mentally boxes really well but fixing obious things such as this would improve his fights by more percent than any training. And finally how you can fix it: saying to someone to do a specific excercise doesnt usually do any good because people tend to do a similar move using the near muscle that they have been using and building strong because of their habbits - in this case hamstrings. So the best way to train it is to put your hand on the bottom of your stomach and try to flex the bottom belly, once you have succeded in that(which is harder than you think) you can try searching for pelvic tilt execercises on youtube but remember checking if it is flexing. If this helps anyone I am glad 😊
