Hey would you like to comment on, @12:50 Gurkha troops from British army fighting reds in Himalayas in Nepal. @12:53 .. Gurkhas originally were Rajput warriors in India. Centuries ago they fled from muslim invaders Conquered Nepal , later the British recruited them ... Gurkhas were Rajput warriors in India. After fleeing from Muslim invaders in India they conquered Nepal is what I understood listening to the narrator.

Even though we r happy seeing this rare video, all i could see was the hardship of commoners, the way they had to carry that vehicle in such a hard road that too barefeet. The difference between the palace and the village is just so overwhelming, it seems like two different eras. They might be our ancestors working so hard for the luxury of the people that neva thought of their welfare.

Because of this coronation and king Nepal was able to establish more than 500 industries and more than 3000 km black topped road from zero or that limited to Kathmandu only, do look at that time from that times perspective not the lense of today where people don't think just open their mouth becoz they have one.

@@cleanenergy832 i guess everyone has freedom to speak right!!! So i can open my mouth and express my views!!! There are always many sides of every stories. I speak as a human being seeing the difficulties of another human being and not about the future development and all. Every creature born in this earth has equal right to live a proper and prosper life. That's what empathy and humanity is. Development and humanity can go side to side and we can example of every other country. Seeing this video the bikes and car was only useful for show during the coronation ceremony. I don't think the ambassadors would have refused to come for the coronation jus becoz we didn't have cars and all.

@@Hithere-qj1wj no your are totally wrong , it's not kings duty to come to the ground and make road, it's duty of every citizen, he has duty to lead and as far as i know he had lead this country pretty good. He has established the industry and as established a city so that trades can be facilitated, you should have known the things he has done before commenting here and be skeptical. Go and research first man, what industrial revolution Nepal has gone through during his tenure, from zero industry to more than 300 industry and we are much more independent to our industry during that time and just look at current situation ,all those good factory which have been earning much more foreign currency is gone now. Name of few industry, hetauda cloth factor, trolley bus, ropeway, butwal yearn factory, bhrikuti paperfactory, Udaypur cement, Janakpuri cigerattee factory, birjung sugar, Himalayan cement chovar etc. And all conservation area in Nepal is done due to him and we cannot forget Mahendra highway from mechi to mahakali, any thing you need to ask just Google the government industries established during his tennure,.

@@ishmriti524 really so you don't know how people's are treated in India during that time, and Britishers considers themselves the king of the world, similarly if they have not carried that load they would have gone to India and do the same things, in current context also same things are happening in India for almost all labour worker from Nepal. Being emotional is one things and be realistic is another. They will do all the labour no matter what you currently think and judge that time situation with your so called open mind due to European education. Oh modern day slavery is much more worse than that, have you ever considered what the hell our sisters and mother's have to go through the hell hole in Indian when they are sold by their own relatives and pimps from Nepal. So lips service is beautiful but reality sucks. So wake the fk up and open your eye out of European education open mind, what I do is always right and what other did is always wrong, isn't it???? All modern educated slaves go to america to do labour work in field and sweep in departmental stores is so modern and open minded right????? But due to him we have only 15000 people out of country for job, how about that. So analyse yourself what you said.
