Don't forget to LIKE & Comment on my video. ❣😍Also SHARING is caring- spread the word to encourage travel to Nepal. Are you planning your trip to #Nepal? Apologies for the mispronunciation/misspelling of Pashupatinath. I occasionally get questions from followers: "What is left to see in Nepal, after the 2015 earthquake? Did the earthquake damage a lot of sites?" Well, I met up with my friend Nabaraj (a trekking guide and tour operator, so he would know best!) to see what's changed with the state of Nepal tourism after the impact of the 2015 earthquake. I am part of select travel bloggers who have been invited to Nepal to experience & explore Nepal for myself. I'll be sharing more things I've explored so keep posted. See the Description box to FOLLOW MY #NEPALI FRIENDS and for links to more travel/equipment information. Coming soon on my blog- a travel guide of the Best things to Do in Nepal ...NOW !
This is really high quality content. People talking are a hundred times more interesting than tropical house music and zoom transitions.

@Ivan3000 Those zoom transitions look super cool- I've been trying to learn them! haha. But thanks. Are you still in traveling Nepal? That homestay you found still inspires me.

Loved it Christine-well done my friend....I know nothing can replace actually being there in person however! I am happy others can see Nepal through your eyes and hopefully others will go to Nepal for the first time because of your video. Big picture I am happy YOU will be able to re tap into your time there, your own memories too, by watching editing and creating the videos that translate into future experiences for others! Namaste!
@grrrltraveler6 жыл бұрын
Namaste +Doug Wiermaa and thanks for your support! A changed perspective can be as powerful as being there. Negative and sensational ideas carry a long way and can stain reputations accidentally, so hopefully I've shared enough honest ideas to balance out some of that. ❣ I am happy to have had been invited a second time to explore the country more. Time was still too short but hoping to share some fun adventures all folks can enjoy.=D😀

I really, really, really LOVE this video, Christine! This definitely is motivating me for a trip to Nepal. How are the costs there, are they comparable to Thailand and Vietnam? One of my favorite things about those two countries are the food carts and places to eat that are so very affordable...cheap, actually. Do you find the same in Nepal? Also, are there hostels to stay in Nepal similarly priced? If so, I may speed up my timeline on going there. Thanks for this beautiful, amazing video showing all there still is to do after the devastating earthquake!
@grrrltraveler6 жыл бұрын
There are some hostels but mostly guest houses and Homestays now. Also hotels esp off season can drop prices to much lower rates. Street food you have to be smart about- not easy as Southeast Asia but prices are still rather low in cafes. Aside from what I’ve already shown I’ll be putting more vids out. 😁
@grrrltraveler6 жыл бұрын
For street food, I recommend: www.backstreetacademy.com#AP0133 .The cost of the tour is significantly lower than most food tours out there and all their tours support cultural sustainability. I don't like to use the word cheap, b/c no operator strives to earn that reputation from a blogger online, esp where quality and standard is concerned, but prices will feel "affordable" and you'll get high quality service, variety and insightful yum. lol (note: it is an affiliate link)😋 Folks will get more out of this than hitting blind in the streets and getting sick. ❣😍

I remember her from your last trip and I am DEFINITELY going to hit her up when I travel to Nepal! I also appreciate the info on the guesthouses, I am pretty sure I asked that question before, lol. I know the guesthouses are pretty inexpensive in Vietnam as I have also stayed at those in the past, before I decided to start trying to stay primarily in hostels. Sometimes it's a nice break between hostel, staying in an inexpensive hotel or a guesthouse. I also have enjoyed your homestays from your last trip there, and that looks like another great alternative. Again, thank you for sharing all this information!

why make the dead and Cremation place as a tourist spot in Nepal?? do they have any place??so weird and not my bucket list...not Nepal
@benusubedi67216 жыл бұрын
pashupati is not really an cremation place but a part of the temple . the cremation place is in the banks of the holy rivers in our religion and the dead peaople must be burnt near the holy rivers and their ashes should be put in the river . it is a ritual in hindu religion . pashupati is a world heritage site cause its one of the biggest temples in Nepal containing thousands of temples of lord Shiva and cremating the dead in pashupati temple is considered to be very holy
