Nepal is full of excitement. Stayed in Dhading with the villager for a week. It was a real life experience where city folks won't get to experience. Keep up your good sharing especially this Nepal trip. Thank you for reminding my Nepal trip, Namaste!!
@grrrltraveler6 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you did a homestay! Wonderful. The organization I did my Panauti homestay with offers one in Chitwan too, with Tharu, if you ever go back. Homestays are something I wish more people would experience-- it also helps the community you're staying with. =) How did you find yours?
@ReLive8886 жыл бұрын
GRRRLTRAVELER | Christine Kaaloa I was doing my community work a year after the Nepal earthquake. Building a community hall for the villagers and I was tough where we were equipped with only basic tools but I was an experience of my life.

GRRRLTRAVELER | Christine Kaaloa very happy to hear that. It is one of the best resorts in Nepal. I was lucky enough to visit the place and I had the same look on my face as you had when I first visited the place. 😀

So beautiful. The care for the people and pride in their resort by the staff was so refreshing to see. Lol. I think I would have just parked myself in that plunge pool? Hot tub? for hours watching the wildlife. Amazing. 💜

When i was 20 i heard that hostels would not be my choice of travel when i was 30.. i would want something nicer then. I thought that was silly, because i would rather spend the money elsewhere but.... Thats so true.. today i find myself excited and willing to spend more staying at a hotel :) looks awesome.
@grrrltraveler6 жыл бұрын
Hostels get tiring. There's a tendency to value quality as you grow older-- ease, convenience, self love, etc... That's all good things. =D

Oh Wow!!! Christine, you sooooo deserve this!! What a contrast between the dwellings you see as you’re entering the park and then the absolutely beautiful space you have to rejuvenate in. Soak it up, soak in the tub, soak your tired feet and soak up the admiration we all have for you. It looks good on you Christine! ... I love that very short clip showing the soft white slippers and then your Grrr traveler shoes! Hahahaha. That really highlighted the contrast. Love it!! Enjoy! 😊

Christine- Loved to see the joy that the beginning of your stay brought you. What a blessing and reward travel can be! I spent some time in Chitwan in October 2017; stayed at the Temple Tiger Green Resort, so I have fond memories of some of the amazing experiences you are enjoying. Continued safe travels on this journey.
