Harry! These videos are absolutely fantastic. Came across them a couple of days ago and I binged through them. What I absolutely admire about your work is that the content is driven primarily by genuine curiosity....and the fact you can spark a genuine conversation no matter what the circumstance is. Can't help but notice your BBC-esque narration...very calming haha. Have a safe trip! Love your work.

I hope you Nepalis would be happy with me, after watching lots of other videos on YT and learning from the Gurkhas at work the things someone complained about in the comments here I know in full. As much as possible Nepali bhaasa sikdai chu, ma ramro gora ho! February ma I stayed at one of the Gurkhas ghar 6 din Kathmandu ma, 2 din Bandipur ma anii 5 din Pokhara ma. It was so great seeing places Tanguy Dai and others went to and my friends house and local chyia pasal Pokhara ma. I just cannot believe it, like in this video I knew those streets leading to Newa Lahana and I enjoyed the food there, tiniharuko khana ekdham mitho thiyo! Anii Sekuwa corner was 2 streets away from mero Nepali sathi ghar! Malaii Nepal ramro laygo! I can thoroughly recommend anyone going to a different country to learn their language as much as possible, its respectful and it opens more doors at least trying to speak the native tongue. My trip started because of Nepali khana and already knowing how amazing the Gurkhas are in the British Army. Tapaiiharu Dhanybaad hajur! 🇳🇵🇬🇧

Oh god I wish Harry had a good food vlogger as his guide. Raj did not help at all. He was using his phone most of the time and rushing things - I don't know what's the hurry, and didn't really communicate much. He didn't teach Harry how to eat Nepali thali and other foods our way. I wish he would try all the foods again in the way we eat. He would have enjoyed it a lot more. The noodles should have been mixed really well before eating leaving no white noodles behind. It's not jhalmuri it's chatpatey, jhalmuri is from India and our chatpatey is different. It was painful to watch but thanks to Harry for his positivity and openness. How I wish I could teach him our culture and foods. I would recommend Harry to get a Nepali foodie from Instagram to explore foods next time.

Nice blog - as usual !! Sundar is Hindi word for beautiful.. people in Nepal do understand the word but if you want to use authentic Nepali word for beautiful then it’s “ramro” or “ramro cha” .. ie “beautiful” or “it’s beautiful “ .. !! In Nepal, you don’t have to ask people weather they are hindu or Buddhist- it’s so intertwined that it’s hard to answer !! All Nepalese respect Buddha - irrespective of their religion !! Loved all your Nepal vlogs !! Hope there’s more to come !! Enjoy your stay !!
