Why did you go just the normal route when you could also hike Namche - Tengpoche - Phortse - Nha - Gokyo - Renjo La - Thame - Namche in the same timeframe. Much more interesting with several monasteries and interesting villages.

Great video! I just trekked from Phaplu to Kala Patthar last May after taking the long bus ride from Kathmandu. Are they still building the road past Kharikhola toward Paiya?

Glad you liked our video and good to hear about your trek! The road now reach upto Bupsa from where you can start the trek. It's a 4-6 hours jeep ride from Salleri to Bupsa.
