great video thanks for posting! If I remember right I think in one of your videos you said you are on the west coast maybe I am mistaken. I am on the East coast in South Carolina. I just got into nepenthes about 2 1/2 - 3 years ago. so my collection is small I mostly grow orchids and hardy carnivorous plants. my question is what are your summer highs in your area? My summers are hot and humid and I am wondering if some of the plants you grow if they would do ok in my climate or if you are in a lot cooler area (as far as highs go) The nep. I have growing so far are N. robcantleyi, N. veitchii, N. truncata, N. bicalcarata and just got a very small N. jamban about 2 weeks ago. I really like your N. jacquelineae but don't know if it can handle my summers. I did just order the N. spachulata X jacquelineae and thought I would give it a try. Also so far I grow my nepenthes almost exclusively in long sphagnum moss but I use a lot of coconut fiber and bark with my orchids and am wondering if nepenthes will grow well in either of those two mixes? Again great video and nice looking plants.

Yeah I’m on the west coast, the SF Bay Area. Summer highs are like 65-70, maybe higher during an occasional heatwave. I think you could probably grow a good amount of Neps if you’re humidity is good but probably going to have to look at intermediate to lowland stuff, or highlanders that are known to adapt to hotter conditions. Veitchii, truncata, rob, should be ok, possibly jamban. spath x jacque should adapt. Also that media is completely fine to use for most Nepenthes
