very nice! A perfect demonstration of how slow generally neps are compared to other cp's. The sundew at the back has made around 3 leaves by the time the nep opened its pitcher.

Ok, glad to see one that takes a bit longer to develope. I've seen time lapses where the pitcher goes from almost nothing to full grown in a week. I've had mine for almost a month and I've definitly seen some further development of the tendrils but it still looks like I have a few weeks to go before the pitchers are full grown.

@kyddoemiko I'm new to the hobby myself, so this may not help at all. I do know that pitchers do not form if the plant gets enough nutrient from the ground. Don't fertilize the plants soil. Also, try a humidifier or careful misting to increase the humidity. :) Hope this helps.

I have some that are several months old and doing fine. N. lowii pitchers can last over a year.

Do you think it could eat a live mouse? Great video and healthy looking nepenthes!
@GUNDAMZGOK12 жыл бұрын
@ThoseTwoNoobs if don't thinks so, maybe they just try to make some scandal about nephentes (truncata or miranda maybe!), but the live mouse is very strong and easy to break thourght the pitcher, event the hard thickness like truncata...

Hey dosinski1337 what do you give it like to help growth of you pitcher? Because mine is growing leafs but not pitchers.
@1gorSouz47 жыл бұрын
Late reply but if it's not growing pitchers there is a big chance it is planted in the wrong substract. It can be Sphagnum mixed with other materials like coconut fiber, but not common soil (wich has many nutrients, and this disencourages the plant to produce pitchers).
