This franchise unfortunately is done for. EA only cares about putting their efforts to put people into the store and use money. That’s their entire strategy the last few years especially wnen FUTEconomist joined them around FIFA 21. EA using traders to maximize their profit. It’s a shame but this game will never be good again…

The biggest issue I face in EAFC 25 is the inconsistency in gameplay. One day, my tactics seem to work perfectly: players make aggressive runs on offense, and the defensive line stays compact. However, the very next day, it feels like a completely different game. My players suddenly stop making effective runs, and defensively they are all over the place, failing to hold their shape. This inconsistency makes it really challenging to rely on any specific game plan, as it feels like I need to start from scratch every time I play.

stat limit is the death of evos for me. Every card is the same, still getting the overall boosts regardless of how much it upgrades the card is intentional to bring cards with lower ratings but good stats to higher overalls so they don't fit in future evos. While sure it was frustrating that some cards would miss out because of 1 pace or shooting ect last year, atleast the cards that did fit sometimes became insane. now none of them become insane, just all the same. Evos this time around will ALWAYS be behind the power curve.

EA are absolutely finished. Releasing this Zanetti card for almost 400k just shows you how out of touch they are. They even removed Anticipate and the CM position compared to his base version. This card is indeed bang average with the low physicality and low shooting. As a full back he also can’t jump so that’s already a huge disadvantage. Maybe it’s time to actually admit this franchise is done for. EA doesnt care one bit. They use their creative minds for store packs the last few years…

Let’s not forget that the only reason these cards are sub-400k is because fodder at the moment is the lowest it’s ever been. Once they rise all of these cards are gonna be 450-500k. The icon SBC when it came out the first time was 380k and last time I checked it was in the 270s. These aren’t just priced bad, they’re HORRENDOUSLY priced

I believe that everybody got EA's message by now, they are very aggresive with the people that used to grid and didn't buy coins and they want to finish the grind era. Is the "buy our coins to get SBC fodder, or beat it, see ya next year, thanks for buying the game" attitude. This is what's happening when a new management is put in place and they are doing anything possible to prove their worth and increase the yoy profit, but have no idea how that impacts the people that are contributing to the yoy profit...amateurs that want money. Most of their experienced devs are no longer with them, they have hired a lot of devs newbies to save more money, and these ones are learning on our money. Also, 90% of the devs have no idea how to code anymore, but only use automations, scripts and AI, so...RIP EA FC.

What I hate about these evo’s is the stupid Overall upgrades. There are cards I have that get a minor upgrade that doesn’t justify the “overall” upgrade the card receives, thus screwing evo chains. Better done with a low rated, silver or bronze card

Exchanges, Icon Swaps, truly open evos, player picks, league sbcs that aren't broken and give players at end would be a good start. But gameplay is gameplay.. its so sad that ps4 version is still better gameplay wise bc it doesnt have all the "next gen" animations. Playstyle pluses are used to completely nuke all past promo cards. Even TOTY cards last year were rendered pointless once the 3 ps plus cards came out, then those were too when the 4 ps plus ones came out.

I'm convinced they don't know how their own gameplay works. Maybe I'm the only one who is bothered by certain role ++ with no fitting playstyles. The thing that makes Zanetti absolutely pointless for me is no passing playstyles with a wingback ++ role. Passing playstyles are so important in this game to be somewhat able to pass the ball so if I use a wingback I want to be able to accurately pass/cross the ball with him, that's the point of using a wingback. Same as using a cam with no fitting passing playstyles.
