Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my KZbin Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.

AJL is only for Malaysian composer .. Lyricist and singers to compete .. so they replace Lah Ahmad to duet with Jaclyn Victor. I still in love with the song till now.

Lah Ahmad won the best vocal award together with Jaclyn Victor for a duet song - Ceritera Cinta in AJL22.. Lah Ahmad actually the replacement for the original male duet partner, Indonesian singer Rio Febrian who can’t make it to the event.. But I couln’t find the video clip of the live song though.. I think TV3 had retracted the clip from KZbin.. Their vocals were powerful that night & deserved to win the Best Vocal Award..

Infos maybe you already know: All the lead singers with contra dress colour are the winners of previous AJL Best Vocal. Adibah Nor, Hazami, Lah Ahmad, Liza Hanim, Black, Jaclyn Victor, Misha Omar. You already reacted to List of Best Vocal in AJL video before and Lah Ahmad is listed and you already asked the same question in that reaction video, who is he? 🤣 The other best vocal winners who are not performing in this opening show is Dayang Nurfaizah, Syamel, Faizal Tahir, Hafiz Suip and Ernie Zakri. The white and grey colour singers are the contestents that can't make it to final AJL34. Only in semi-final level. I spot Salma, Marsha, Amir Masdi, Usop, Sarah Suhairi and some of them I'm not really recognised and know the name. The songs that they sang in medley are the other songs written by and composed by the same lyricist and composers that battle on the night.

Lah Ahmad was part of a r&b soul group named VE. They were legends alongside their brother group "Ruffedge".
