Original song by pop-rock band Spin. They were really popular back in the late 90s to early 2000s. But sadly the lead singer, Achik, passed away in a car accident. Tajul is Achik's younger brother. He looks a lot like the late Achik, but his voice sounds a bit different. The lenggok you're refering to is not exactly lenggok in irama tradisional, it's more of a subtle run that mimics lenggok. Many singers back then has this style of singing, including Achik. It's kind of Malay DNA in singing. It can come from both traditional music or some kind of religious singing like nasheed or berzanji.

Hi Nephi..some fact for you. This song originally sing by one group name "Spin" from Malaysia and quite popular in 2000. The vocalist of the group name Achik passed away in 2010 and Tajul is his siblings. So much memory with this song. Thanks to them with the cover and many thanks to you for the reaction. 😁😁👌👌

Just some fun fact/trivia. the original song was sung by late Achik and his band Spin. at those time people hate this kind of song where pop or rock combine with the mellow type of irama malaysia/lenggok melayu kind of singing. whenever this type of song especially this song mengusung rindu came out of radio, people will just turn of the radio or change channel. But time have change, the mellow lenggok melayu/irama malaysia style of singing hybrid with pop or rock song become acceptable with today audiences.. Kudos to late Achik, Spin and all the bands who couldnt make it long ago to bring this type of music and singing to the world...

About your comment on you cant do it because u r rnb. Of course u can! I once never tought that i will sing this way too.. my voice was always plain, sing note by note. But one day i decide to learn it. Eventhough not quite good yet but its so fun. There are many friends i know who r good at rnb but can sing this style too... its just like different arrangment... Hi Neph. That is typical Malay lenggok (texture/tone) of singing. You can see from Dato'Jamal Abdillah, Dato' Siti Nurhaliza n the rest.
