WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but I have been moving and living in different countries due to the nature of my work. I’ve lived in countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

this song is actually a 90's era song which is the original singer is Tajul's late brother. Tajul and Afieq are friends and they collaborated singing this remake song (added some new fresh genre and music arrangement)

You know Nephi, they re talents that are trained from a Malaysian reality tv in their childhood around the age of below 15 yrs old. Yearss back. There have been siries n they came from 2nd season. Out of many sesons, myself preference would go to the 2nd season, n well here they are. I m really glad that my choice back then was right. I m so happy they re doing great. Affieq Shazwan was once played a role in a teathre tribute to Malaysian PM. More infos, youll be amazed. Aqiem Rusley is one of his colleagues. Although Affieq didn't win, but his star is brighter.

I miss late Achik 😭😭😭 his voice is really something else.. please react to him Nephi.. he was Siti Nordiana's partner.. they're one of if not the best duet in Malaysia.. they even popular in Indonesia.. Achik with his band (SPIN) has many BEST songs... ngl, Achik is my fav male vocalist from Malaysia.. even until now.. his leaving was so sudden.. imagined watching him Live in music show in the evening, several hours later the news reported his death.. I can't forget that day 😭
