What I alway found odd was that in most movies it shows David missing many times before finally finding his death mark upon Goliath of Gath. This is of course not biblical in most translations. What "IS" biblical is that he picked out five "God perfectly designed" stones for Goliath AND his four (presumed) avenging brothers. He had planed to kill them all. Possibly his sons and other male relatives would have came one at a time to challege David in single combat for vengence, sport or just honor of battle in general. Gath at this time was an exceedingly warrior like culture and very vindictive at exacting vengeance upon there enemies. However they took great pride in the successes of their enemies because the greater the adversary the finer the victory of the nation (and the man) if they bestest them in armed combat in groups but best so in one on one melee. David like those before him of the likes of Moses and Joshua was not just a great warrior but a predestined by divine decree to be a Giant killer. Purification of the earth from these filthy abominations created by the Watcher (Grigori) fall when they lost forever their divine estate mating with human woman to purposely infect and bastardize the human genome.
