Yup, gems collection was pretty good on GameCube. It's pretty much one of the main reasons I got introduced to the old sonic games; The good old ones, and the weird old ones as well. (Sonic R, Sonic 3D blast, spinball, etc.)

there was a gba game that featured nothing but battling in arenas, but it was also a story based RPG rather than a fighting game, so you had control over a robot that lost its memories and would be taught about friends by sonic and stuff. its worth a play, unlike sonic the fighters.

1. Nack was called Fang in the US. That is why. 2. Bark (and later Bean the Dynamite) were both characters exclusive to this game (unless you count sonic comics). There is also Honey the Cat that didn't make the final version of the game. 3. Older Sonic games had 8 emeralds. Later on, one of the emeralds was turned into the master emerald. 4. It is rosy, not rosv. Weird font is weird.
