I remember watching this and thinking, "wow, if I ever get this game it's gonna take me forever to reach where Dan is." I got this game about 2 weeks ago on PS4 and now I'm watching this thinking, "well he's not very far at all, he's only at heat 4 or 5 on his favorite weapon and only unlocked 1 extra aspect." Also Dan you did not unlock the secret ending, you need to kill Hades with the final level of 'Extreme Measures" to do that.

You don't need to beat Hades with Extreme Measures to unlock the ending. If you did do that, then kudos, but it's not necessary.

Why is Hades always the bad guy? In mythology he was actually one of the nicer gods. He did his job, loved his wife, and basically named his three headed dog “Spot”!

at the part where dan tests how much damage special does compared to a normal attack, and he says the normal attack only does 42 damage, and i just had to pause to process this. did he forget the two other attacks in the combo, or does he think 42 is the sum of all 3 hits?

This is my favourite game of all time, every mechanic works so perfectly together to give you the bitesize and addictive gameplay of roguelikes whilst also avoiding every problem of rogue likes makes the entire game addictive and fun.

It was super cool the day I shutout Thanatos. I think it was like 29 (or 19 or 39. P sure on the 9) to zero. He had a quip like "couldn't you have saved me even one?" When the combos stack up nicely (Varantha + hold-to-auto-stab + stab doom + dash hangover), the game becomes completely different. You really get the feeling of guiding a proper god through the challenges.

I’m pretty upset that it just skips to the very very late game. A lot it the stuff you unlock as you play is really where the game shines. Plus I was hoping for a let’s play, but now that he’s already super beaten the game. Plus 90% of the game is interacting with the cast of characters. And all of that is just gone now. Overall I’m pretty disappointed with this video. Mostly because if you’re new to Hades, you DEFINITELY shouldn’t see this.
