My money was reset to zero, I couldn't change outfits, I couldn't access most features of the game, and I lost my experience, reputation, and guns. I would start a new game but I was too infuriated to play it again.

I do kinda want to point out, My relationship with my nephew is probably the same as his relationship to his niece...
