In the room where you had to fire a portal as you went through your portal, you could have placed a portal on a reacable wall, walked through, tripped the lasers, jumped down, gone through the orange portal (now on the bottom), place the blue portal past the glass, jumped down the pit to the cube room, then gone through the orange portal that's now reachable without the use of the blue portal. That sounded a lot simpler in my head, but now that I look at it typed out...

I've always been thinking about the portal mechanic. after laying down the portals, wouldn't the space between each one be razor sharp? the moment you're passing through the portal, wouldn't you need to make sure you don't touch the edges of the hole?

Just Cause 3 challenge: Get a car with a nuke from that challenge. Get a cargo plane, put the car inside of the cargo and fly in the air. Search a military base and ride the car out of the plane crashing (bail out at the right moment) into the base doing as much damage as you can.

No, it guides the player towards portals if they have trouble lining up the drop. Imagine a funnel made of air attached to the portal. Everything falls into the centre.

My head hurts because of the knowledge and understanding I went though to see this, but the one you cheated on, after you make it to the part where you can see the exit, you place your blue portal in walking reach, go through, pass through the switch thingy, putting the orange portal at the bottom, drop down, go back through to the exit chamber, move the blue portal to the exit door side, then drop down that tunnel and pass through the orange portal now at the bottom.
