You can buy grape leaves canned in brine here in the UK, even at delis here in Scotland! I like just a little bit of Wasabi, depending on the type of sushi each piece will have a slick of it already to hold the fish to the rice. The main difference with Esthe Royer shampoos is they are silicone free and SLS free. They contain Cocoyl Methyl Taurine Na, which is the salt of the coconut fatty acid amide N-methyltaurine. The combination of no silicone, no SLS (which is in the vast majority of shaping products we use, it's an industrial detergent) and a unique replacement for the SLS which doesn't harshly strip the natural oils from your scalp and skin is probably why it works so well for you. Another factor might also be the difference in the mineral content of the water in Japan compared to your home in Canada. Hard water leaves a residue everywhere it touches, including on your scalp and skin. It means certain shampoos, body washes etc will work much better than others.

When we were in Canada last year I was in heaven and made sure I got a few packs to bring home, but they went fast LOL! I also badly miss those delicious maple cookies I got when over there. We used to spend every Christmas in Southern Spain and I always used to have a dish called 'Gambas al Pil-Pil' which is prawns and garlic cooked in olive oil and served bubbling hot in stone dishes, served with a fresh bread roll and I miss that! 😁 And the oranges... Oh my goodness. 😊 In England we have a fast food place called Chopstix Noodle Bar that I cannot pass up. You choose your box size, then you can have a base of noodles or rice (plain or egg fried), a topping and a drink. It's comfort food dialled up to ELEVEN. 😊 When it comes to Sushi, I'm a pickled ginger girl - Wasabi is just savage amusement! 🔥 😣😆 As far as things I miss from childhood go, I was brought up in the North-East of England but now I live in the South West and I really miss proper winters! We used to get massive snowdrifts that meant at least a week off school once they hit. Down here they rarely get proper snow, so it's really funny when we get a light dusting cos everyone loses their minds and forgets how to drive. 😂

The things I miss most from my childhood are restaurants...so yeah, food. Luigi's in Massachusetts and The Cozy in Maryland. Both are closed, and The Cozy has been razed to the ground and built over. They always decorated beautifully for Christmas and I miss it as part of my family's Christmas tradition. Edit: Also, I'm really picky about fruit, too, but I've been lucky with grapes lately, finding sugar-sweet ones. And I love melon-flavored candy because it tastes just like a freakin' cantaloupe!

So with north American shampoo if you buy cheap or non salon carried shampoo there is more waxes in them. As a cosmetologists in north America we try to educate people about the difference in salon grade products because most products you can buy in stores such as target, Walmart or any drugstores are shipped from overseas and often not the same thing we sell. Most have been tampered with or labeled incorrectly. I suggest going into a salon and get a volumizing shampoo.

A lot of offices will buy snacks and stuff and bring them in to pass out at the office or school. I miss Reese's sooo much, my mom sends me several bags whenever she sends a box. I tend to miss other various sweets and snacks, too. like bacon jerky, little debby oatmeal cream pies, zebra cakes, sunchips, ranch, girlscout cookies, most recently I had a craving for honeybuns.
