"Raised" refers to a donut made with yeast as apposed to a cake donut that uses baking powder for leavening! Raised are my favorite!

I am definitely seeing Animate through different eyes. I went with my husband (who is introverted) and since I don’t watch anime, I didn’t nearly have as much fun. But seeing you vlog and gush, it definitely makes me want to go back.

As much time I spent in Animate, mandarake, or even nakano broadway or Akihabara... The flowers I would see on my walk to some these places were so pretty. I have am obsession of taking photos of flowers. I got one of a lilly (I think) with a spider in the petal hiding from the summer sun. Did not know he was there until I got home. So magical there.

y'know jackie that a lot of those nitotan plushies are available for preorder on amiami. Their prices are in yen (and a lot of times they are at a discount) and prices are very reasonable. They also have a lot of shipping options and service is impeccable. The only thing with their website is they don't provide merch exclusive items (limited edition merch only available at cons, etc.) something to consider. I found the last time I went to Tokyo all the items I wanted were either sold out or up for preorder which would result in being sold out once officially released T.T

Still, I feel like I’m really missing out if I don’t go at least once. 🤔 PS - Jackie, definitely watch Banana Fish of if you can get your hands on the manga, read it. It’s an amazing story.

Mitsubishi has done many things lol. I will have hidden from my dad (CLEANING PURGE!) Lol our old Mitsubishi brand sterio. Its silver and has an upright record player section. The player arm goes from the right over to the middle and it has radio and cassette section. It has lots of the old analogue connection on the back and back in 1988 I connected my vhs player to it and copied the whole of the Dune movie to tape so I could listen to it when traveling. Was very good audio quality for the day. Sadly there is a short in the audio circuitry these days I can't get sound, but I'm keeping it just for how kinda futuristic it looks

To do all my paperwork stuff at work lol. 3) last time I was in Tokyo (September) I went to the Punyus at Tokyo Sky Tree mall whatever place and I had the exact same feeling. Also I was TOO plus size for the plus size shop :( I was really kinda angry. Plus they looked at me funny...

1) damn, I felt old when you said you didn’t know banana fish. (The manga is older...) 2) THEY STEALING MY STUFF! Like 15 years ago when I used to actually attend anime cons, I made a bag with a plastic pocket for displaying pins. I even had a back liner pocket to catch the inevitable troublesome pin back that came off. I broke like three heavy duty needles on my sewing machine making that thing!

Take a pocket phrase book, have data on your phone so you can Google translate stuff and if in doubt play charades. Lol! A lot of people in Asia learn English at school too so there are ways to get around the language barrier. Or if you're really too afraid just learn Japanese before you go 😂
