+Flying Monkey Fred! Long time no chat! We did indeed have a fire... what you see in Nic's vid is the fire that happened about a month ago. It was a large AP platform quad crash... LIPO and ESC caused. Believe it was discussed on the board here... Unfortunately, we've had another incident at Baylands today... due to drought conditions here in California, many of our parks are bone dry tinderboxes. Heard the fire today was not as big as the first, but still NOT small. In an effort to be prudent, our pilot group has agreed to fly over the green grass areas ONLY go forward... that's assuming we are allowed to continue to fly in the park given 2 fires in the last 2 months. Wish us luck. (oh, and I'm the guy you hung out with at Flitefest15... I worked a lot in the FPV booth)

I'm looking at building one of these at some point too, any chance you've got a speed wing designed for it? ;) not sure how a symmetrical wing would change the flight characteristic but it might be cool!

So I built the latest version, the wing folded in a high G turn! I'm gonna see if I can't kinda replicate how you do the speed wing for the next one. very cool plane tho! I love how it flies.
