Father Charlie looks like he's wearing the same ring as Eddie but his looks tarnished and Eddie's is golden. It makes me think they are supposed to represent Archangel Michael and Lucifer - the twin angels before Michael cast Lucifer out of heaven. Eddie tells Lois she isn't allowed in the garden yet so that tracks with Michael's role of offering people near death a chance to redeem their sins so they can get to heaven. He's slso the patron saint of police officers. Charlie plays the Lucifer role of making people give into their vice - the bishops with greed, the nun with lust etc...

I see it as this. My grandmother and mother always said the devil appears as a handsome man with the ability to tempt. Well the priest is hot and knows how to tempt one into sinning so I think the priest is the devil in disguise. I think like others have stated that Lois is in a psych ward. I do think Travis Kelcie's character might be an angel trying to pull her away from the darkness. Also something is off with the daughter. Why didn't she answer the phone when it was ringing? How has she not ended up in a hospital for not taking care of her weight issues? This show really makes you think.

Nobody thinks Det. Tryon is in the reality we're supposed to believe she's in. Psych ward, in a coma herself, passed out drunk out of her mind...all of those are strong possibilities as nothing is really adding up. We don't see the faces of the people she's running after firing guns at around the house, Kelce's character just materializes out of nowhere. Someone pointed out that he's wearing a necklace for the patron saint who protects law enforcement--another clue. The lighting changes around Tryon from time to time, but no one else. The nurse is doing WAY too much for a police officer in reality to ignore or gloss over especially in regards to her supposed husband. Too many things aren't anywhere near normal. After the turducken, I'm on the bandwagon that she's the actual killer.

I think Lois figured out the husband is the killer, while they in the car together. Hi! New subbie here! I think Lois is living in some alternate reality or post-apocalyptic society where supernatural beings are walking/living amongst humans. Hence the various settings: the desolate town and desert, the hospital has outdated machines, the staff is dressed outdated as well. Although these murders are occurring, we have yet to see coverage in the news or newspapers. My other theory is a cult committing these crimes via possession and is taunting Lois. Lois seemed to be another person when she was stitching that turkey. Sister Megan is too anxious and obsessed with serial killers right along with the priest. It seems like the 7 deadly sins are intertwined around Lois. Kelce is the cult leader or Lucifer himself. He is way too nice and charming tf out of Lois. She let down all guards and even brought him home to “watch” over Merritt.

I have not seen the program but, have kept up with each epidsode as it is talked about the day after. Your run down of the program has me even more strongly leaning towards what has been at the edge of my mind all along. The characters are manifestations of Lois' mind. The nurse is actually her guilt and her accepting the end of her marriage. The husband comatose is the state of her marriage. so far Eddie represents both what she would like her life as: breaking free of the shackles of having to be detective and mom and wife. the carefree love of her and her husband's early years. Also the wish for a more attractive (inside) person who is fun and carefree. Both the nun and the father are represented by sin, guilt and ect., with Lois no longer able to care about her job and wanting to divorce her husband. Murders are retribution and may be even Lois herself killing these people as they are ones she knows. We have not gotten far enough and I don't have enough info to form all the connections to the dots but, there is a rational full story and these people represent role or aspects of Lois thoughts.

I think Lois gets black out and does the killings. I think her husband knew too much like in a flashback to meeting her husband she says “love can make the soft hard… and the hard soft” I think she got soft… I think he knew something…. , who knows if he’s truly in a hospital as the only people that acknowledge he’s in a hospital are her and the nurse who looks straight out of an old Hollywood movie. Everyone murdered has a connection to her and she’s supposedly the top investigator and a puzzle solver yet she has no clue what’s going on with the murders and doesn’t seem to really look other than having the nun answer everything about the murders as she knows more…. When she grabbed the gun in the first episode when the nun knew the song it was made to seem like she thought the nun was the murderer…. I think she thought the nun knew too much or saw or commit the murder so she grabbed her gun

Yes, the nurse the redhead nurse I’m very sure that she’s not real. I mean she’s so bright in this dark show. I mean even her skin and her hair and there’s a light around her so that’s so weird and I reached to point that maybe her daughter is not real I mean, she doesn’t fit this atmosphere the show This show hurt my head I am holding in one theory that she is in the hospital and she gets crazy more and more I mean do you know that movie that the detective go crazy because the wife kills their children and from the shock? He gets crazy and he’s over and over in this case I think she and this I don’t know I mean the show make me crazy and for the second time, sorry for my that English.

Episode 4 is just too cringey. It is losing me. I had to stop and restart many times. Agendas are so boring and preachy and self indulgent. The whole father nun thing is too much. I know that Ryan Murphy seems to despise Christianity and Catholicism but this is just over the line for me. I like his writing in his other show better - less cringey. I do like Travis Kelce in this role and have liked Niecy since Scream Queens, which also was amazing until Ryan got so cringey again with his politics. Would be so nice if Ryan, who is very talented, could just stick to writing and leave all his agendas to himself only. Adgendas are super cringey.

Ok true opinion. Its just another disappointing season of AHS that tries to reel you in with some shock, but then veers off into Ryan Murphy twink fantasies of priests in ass chaps. Same old boring shit. The interesting ideas are never properly executed. Your always anticipating something to live up to the season opener and it never comes. I hope im wrong but most of the nonsensical dialogue scenes were a snooze and nothing built genuine suspense. If he wanted to make the deaths truely terrifying he should show the right before instead of the finished project like he did in ep1. On top of that its not fucking glee, and here he is going in the direction of a musical again. So disappointing watching him butcher another series...literally
@AnthonyTurnerАй бұрын
I haven't watch AHS story since that one season with Lady Gaga in a hotel, but I have seen that people are pretty frustrated with the franchise recently. AS for this show, these last few episode sure made me concerned for the rest of the series. But I'll stick with it because who doesn't like a good trainwreck.
@nicole8809Ай бұрын
@@AnthonyTurner yea to me things started to go south once you realized he was just trying to throw random celebs in to get viewership and his story lines were noncohesive like the writers were just making things up as they went along. On top of that stupid gimmicks to pad runtime or stretch the season ie long ass bs dialogue of people talking in circles, randomly breaking out into song or long takes of nothing happening. I might give it one more episode but I found it too hard to just focus on these last two episodes instead of just let them run in the background while I did other things. Your reviews are really good though im just disappointed as an avid horror/thriller Fan at Murphys lazy rinse repeat under a different name bs.
@kiehalloАй бұрын
Lol yes, Ryan's typical twink parts made me cringe so bad. Show immediately lost some of its value, like at this point I'm fed up with Ryan's "eye candy" shoved on my face. I find the combining of religion (christianity) with lust overdone too
@nicole8809Ай бұрын
@kiehallo I agree and given the climate of Hollyweird right now, Murphys use of attractive male actors in his soft gay porn bits is starting to feel exploitive. I know he thinks he will score points with women and gays for that but it cheapens it. Showing the suspense of how the victims are captured and making us feel something for them would have been better use of run time, but he likely doesn't want to spend the budget on additional acts/characters
@kiehalloАй бұрын
@@nicole8809 I find it a turn off to be immersed into the plot and suddenly having that creepy priest's a$$ hanging in front of my face for minutes and for no reason. It takes me away from the movie. And the point is, he has done that so many times. Idk what points he's trying to score with the eye candy, pretty sure most people watch this for the horror.

but ofc if u also call everything 'woke' and are gonna vote for an actual liable r*pist/felon then ur gonna haaaaate this show already w a black female lead let alone its not-your-style interpretation of Christianity btw speaking of which what DID God mean about being able to own slaves and sell ur daughter into slavery etc? Oh also why do people cherry pick the ONE anti-gay line when its in the same book, just a page or two away from also saying u go to hell for eating lobster/shrimp (any 'bottomdwelling' shellfish) the hypocrisy and always coming from a place of hate vs love is why i never eneded up following the christian footsteps of my parents who were far from devout but still, studied zen buddhism/hinduism specificially in uni and took a 'world religion' course myself to learn more and found all religions agree on God/Gods, Karma or some form annnnd a soul - thats all im willing to concede myself.
