I just love Phil Lord and Christopher Miller's work. They revived my love for animation in The Lego Movie & made me remember why I love superheroes stories in this trilogy! While also breaking new grounds on visual storytellung.

Miles from earth 42 was supposed to be Spider-Man. At one point when the spot is explaining how he created him, we see the spider about to bite a student with braids. So yeah, he was supposed to be Spider-Man

None of the actors have recorded any fresh dialogue for the final movie, however there are most likely lines cut from/recorded during the sequel process that will be carried over

Can't wait for Beyond, after Across I'm extremely hopeful for the conclusion to this epic story.

Great movie! Biggest issue is that the story isn’t complete yet but I get that’s by choice just want the next film now.

The story is complete for this film. If you can see where the story is going for each character, then this film did its job. No one said the story was incomplete for the dark knight, infinity war, or matrix reloaded. All of these films ended on a cliffhanger as well. Your criticism is largely unfair

@@sangaman2007 the main ideas of the story around canon aren’t complete there are contradictions in the film that have to be resolved by the next one. This felt like it finished with at least another hour to go. The dark knight and infinity war could never get a sequel and the story in those films is complete but there is room for more this doesn’t feel that way the film ends with the characters looking for miles or waiting for him in eternal limbo if there was no sequel.

​@donmon808 commercial? It's literally a 2 parter and a film in itself. It establishes Gwen's story arc, O'Haras, Spot, and now Miles Morales Prowler. You can't wrap all that up in a 3rd act and the movie is already over 2 hours long and it's been known this has been a 2 parter for over a year

In regards to the voice actors not having recorded lines - apparently voice over is like literally the last thing done in the production process for an animated movie/show. For anime at least, I know this last attack on titan episode didn't have lines recorded for it until a month out from the wide release.
