I'm glad they're reworking the resin. I did the pumpkin pie one and gave it to my niece to play with. I found it one day almost bent in half, the resin never fully set in the middle.

The clear thing in the bottom of the vase that the stems of yellow flowers plug into is called a FROG. IRL frogs are often made of glass and they help to keep your flowers standing up. Sometimes they have a metal base with sharp prongs sticking up to jam the stems onto. They've been around since Victorian times and some folks collect them.

Miniverse hands down. Mini brands was cute. Loved the rares and the flowers but seemed geared more towards kids. Still obsessed with miniverse but these r not terrible.

I like that mini brands are bigger, but the mini verse look so much better and more realistic . Even just comparing the dirt, the kinetic sand is 10x better than the hard piece of plastic.

@@princessheart9229 tbh NEITHER are "creative" just building..for the other you just put dirt in a pot then the flower in it (you MIGHT get other projects than the flower pot ones, but they're sort of the same thing..you build it 1 way, there is no creative ways to build them). It's really not any different besides one's plastic and actually stays together the other isn't. That's about it!

That's why, for me, I like to add clear school glue in with the dirt and if I can super glue the roots to the pots so everything will stay. Because pretty much everything will just fall out.

I resin all my plants. Cant even tell other than i dont have to worry about them falling n making a mess. Love them!!! Still need that dang zen garden to complete my set but its ok ill find it lol. N miniverse is now coming back in stores, they revamped the resin. If u get any n for those watching u will need to make sure ur uv light is 365 powered, most ppl have 395 like the miniverse kitchen is. The 395 will not fully cure the new resin. So excited for the new beetlejuice and harry potter!

I really like the miniverse, the minebrands ones are very cute when they are fake but the plants seem to be very similar to each other and look like dollar tree fake plants. I think the design of the miniverse ones is prettier and more thought out, the plants are more realistic too. I love your channel Jackie, I missed your videos about mini´s!!

I hope Miniverse gets their age restrictions in order, because I'm not feeling the Minibrands stuff. They look really plasticky, the leaves could use some shading, and they lack the realism Miniverse stuff had. The Miniverse are cute from packaging to the actual project, but Minibrands has a very easter egg surprise cheap feel, which isn't compensated with the number of flowers. The diy part is really underwhelming. I give some extra points for the snail, though. The lady bug and butterfly were a little stiff looking, but they did improve things a little.

I got a sudden thought for the plants to stay they should add some clear tape or something around the plant to attach or maybe two layers so you add some half way put the plant in then add more “soil” till it’s around the plant fully and then there’s more on top as when you put it in you are only compressing the soil not securing it in place (never bought them before this is what I’ve thought of by watching these videos ❤)

Other than them being cute the biggest thing I like about the mini brand version is most of them you don’t HAVE to use the resin to put most of them together. Except for the lightweight bouquets in vases, u only need the resin to attach the little ladybug or whatever creature comes with it. Now to watch the video and find out Jackie’s opinion! 10:39 YOU GOT THE ONE I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!!!! MOTHER TRUCKER!!!! 31:05 they are a lot less expensive here in the states. I can get them at target for $9-$10 a piece. I just wish they had pinhole sheets like miniverse does

Shame that Mini verse has all been recalled...but I did manage to buy that same exact one awhile ago and had the same issue with the plants not staying well. I had bought another mini verse project and had a tiny bit of leftover resin and tried to use that to help the plants stay but still don't think they were in permanently. But hopefully Mini verse comes back advertising to adults upgrading their projects to be better.

Miniverse is so much better. I have the hole series 1 of miniverse. I have 4 or 5 of mini brands garden. Both are cute and nice. But miniverse is the winner. I do like the litter critters you get with the mini brands.
