@@strobo308 she may have watched the vat19 commercial but she did not follow how they did the cotton candy, it's a common trend in her videos that she doesn't do research, and then gets upset when people point out she is doing it wrong. I can barely watch her videos anymore its just annoying, another example would be her doll makeover videos she still doesn't know to use acetone instead of nail polish remover, its like she is trolling everyone. I guess i just prefer people like Safiya Nygaard she actually puts alot of effort into researching her projects. Watching Jackie is a shitshow most times.

@@augustussquiggles770 Normally I don't like it when people don't do research, but in the case of Jackie's kit reviews, part of what she is reviewing are the included instructions themselves. A company expecting people to pay for a craft kit ought to be able to include instructions that are clear and accurate enough for the consumer to be at least marginally successful with the kit on their first try. If they don't, then the consumer ends up wasting at least part of the product before realizing they need to seek outside help on the internet.

Wow I'm late. But story time: So for Christmas my cousin actually has the candy maker from the previous video and it actually worked pretty well for us. I took some regular sugar, put in a couple of drops of peppermint extract and green food coloring, mixed well and let it sit out for a bit so the moisture can dry out. Then put some in the cotton candy maker and boom! Peppermint cotton candy. I also tried it with vanilla and maple extract (used yellow food coloring) and those came out extremely well too (be very cautious with the maple extract that stuff is strong you probably only need one or 2 drops of that one) The only real problem is it got impossible to clean. I dunno if it's how long we left it on/how much sugar but at one point the sugar melted in a place where we couldn't clean it. Also I remember seeing that same cotton candy maker in Walmart for like 25-30 bucks a while ago... I'm in the US though so
