The color names and instructions are written on the markers themselves, but they're in Chinese. The color names are written in those little marker-shapes that point towards the cap.

Hey NerdE! You really aren't supposed to, y'know, move the entire phone around all the time when using that XP-Pen tablet. When it's in vertical or horizontal mode, it's recommended you have the phone stationary - like a computer or laptop would be - while drawing. It was probably just a faulty cable, because I've used so many XP-Pen things over the years (including this tablet) and I've never had the disconnect issue as much as you did.

The big one is for primary school pencils ✏️ they’re that big so a regular sharpener wouldn’t work. You can also use it for crayons so you don’t dull out the regular one. I love the pencils for small kids they make my hands hurt less

I got really nervous when you pulled out a XPpen product- it is one of my favorite products and was actually my gateway into digital drawing. They are compared to Wacom devices and are either at equal value or better than them when it comes to quality. I have TWO of their drawing tablets (with screens) and they both work amazing with my apple laptop. They are insanely cheaper than Wacom devices and they really are very impressive when it comes to their quality. They are on sale right now if you wanted to check out their screen-tablet ones and see how they work. I promise you that they are a lot better than the one you got. ^^”

I got an XP-Pen Artist 16 (a display tablet) and it's an amazing tablet. I previously only used wacom tablets which would constantly have problems on my computers (yes, multiple computers). Meanwhiel the XP-Pen's driver crashes rarely and when it does I just have to open the driver software and doodle a bit in the pressure sensitivity testing tab and it's fine. So yeah, I also got a bit nervous. I feel it's rather unfair to test the tablet Jackie bought only on a phone when most artists have at least a laptop or something.

Something I can answer! On the sharpeners, the big slot is for soft core pencils (i.e. soft core colored pencils and/or your B graphite pencils), the small slot is for the hard core pencils (i.e. prismacolor verithin pencils and/or your H graphite pencils). The core is what most people call the lead of the pencil.

Usually when kids are just learning to write they use much wider pencils that are easier to grip, so some pencil sharpeners (especially ones that are meant for kids, like the one you got) have the option to sharpen regular and larger pencils. The different sized openings can also be used to get a somewhat differently shaped tip.

I have a similar drawing pad from the same company. I use it for remote teaching, and it makes my life so much easier. I am not an artist, so I’m not sure how good it would be for drawing, but it is a product I would recommend to teachers.

It said that both had to be vertical so I'm assuming the phone had to be up. I would've used a phone tripod. The thing that got me was that the phone case she bought was the P20 and not the P20 Pro. When you used the outline markers on glass, plastic, and metal, it looked like you only got the outline color. Did the silver come through? It also looked like the outline was thicker on the rock than on the paper. I wonder if porous vs. non-porous has anything to do with it. It's a shame the markers themselves are such poor quality. Off to finish the rest of the video. :D

when kids start writing they might get a "starter pencil" that is thicker than usual so they can grip onto it tighter so the bigger part of the pencil sharpener is for a pencil like that

The bigger hole of the sharpener is good for big pencils and if a pencil’s graphite breaks easily it helps bc it sharpens the pencil shorter.

Jackie, when you keep the stylus over a color for a while it goes to the dropper and takes that color and let’s your color I that color. So you probably kept your stylus over the white color, activating the dropper, so when you tried to color again, you couldn’t see it because he color is white. Just thought I should let you know because I have drawn on ibisPaintx for a pretty long time now. I hope this helped you!

The reason why there are difference sizes on pen sharpener is the size of the pen. I have a set of very thick pens that I draw with and I can tell you, having a bigger hole is ver useful

Just a quick thing, in ibis paint you can go into settings and turn off the quick selection because that’s what’s making everything reset- For the pencil sharpener’s there are more chunky pencils

The good quality of those outline pens were one of my favorite art supplies when I was a kid, even though they had such a strong solvent smell. Haha. I loved those so much but they were so expensive (for a gradeschool artist) that I had to be kind of precious with them. Now I want to see if I can find the ones I used as a kid, again, I'd forgotten all about them. (You can control bleed/color outline width by using different paper!)

I wanna say two things about kiniyo, they went out of business and that’s why a lot of things were sold out :( and the second is you DID get two extra eraser things, they were in the right side of the packaging! (I know from experience because I ordered that electric eraser)
