The core figures should just be kept in print there is clearly a market for it. Instead of focusing on releasing a ton of obscure characters NECA should focus on having the core figures in print and have a slow supply of obscure characters. I seriously doubt the market can take all the unknown characters. However there is a pretty large market for 10-15 most know characters.

It's only insane if you actually pay it! NECA are doing us a solid with the 2 week long open preorder periods on this stuff. So, if you think you want it at all, do not hesitate to preorder. I know they charge up front and I know they don't deliver for quite a while, but it beats getting ass raped by scalpers and flippers. If you decide you don't want it after it shows up, you will have ZERO trouble selling it.

Yeah, I remember when I watched the 7th season of TMNT on CBS on Saturday Mornings back then. Ahhh, memories. "Dirk Savage: Mutant Hunter" wasn't a bad episode, and I was shocked as s*** when I saw Tokka and Rahzar appear in that only episode. But I felt they did Tokka dirty, as he ALWAYS seemed to need Rahzar to save him from whatever situation he was in.

Just gotta stay patient. I missed out last Haulathon in April on getting Tokka/Rahzar. Was tempted to pay the $300 for what they were getting scalped for on eBay. I waited long enough for them to get re-released, and got the set for 60, 1/5th of those crazy eBay prices.

I can't justify spending top dollar on modern figures. While I do enjoy, and have been collecting only the movie line...i've debated selling everything, grab the 1/4 scale turtles with Shredder at some point later on, and call it a day. I love TMNT, but as someone who leans more towards the vintage side of things, there's too many figures to keep up with nowadays, and it's getting pricey. I want to mention that I only buy if there's a pre-order window online at the NECA store. Knowing NECA, they will release every character possible, and next year we'll see TMNT 3. You have to draw the line somewhere.

You don't need complete lines. A good option is to get a few of the figures you had/loved in childhood etc. I know many that collect a little of everything, but there is no wrong with just collecting movie line eitherway.

I bought the animated series TMNT turtles four pack at Target. They didn't have price tags on the shelf, but I figured it'd be 100, max! No wonder they didn't put the price tags on the mod. They wanted people to feel pressured into buying that $162 pack when they got to the registers instead of taking it off at checkout. And the figures are cool and stuff, but I'm totally done with TMNT! I can't afford to be spending that kind of money for something that's not a priority on my list.

Oh Man, Bebop and Rocksteady in bunny suits remind me of patiently awaiting the Awesome Easter VHS tape's arrival when it was available via some book order list at school in the early 90s. Thinking it had to have been Scholastic. Cool that they actually included Krang's docilizer too. Wish I'd jumped on board when this line started, even though the store exclusives would probably drive me nuts at times.

I have been collecting toys forever, but always resisted action figures. Then, last year I finally succumbed and started picking up a smattering of everything- Star Wars, DC Multiverse, Marvel Legends, Super 7 stuff, etc. I am old enough that I was no longer a kid when TMNT came out so have no nostalgic connection to these at all. However, when I saw these hit Target I could not resist. These are so damn charming and unique in their cartoon styling! This is my absolute favorite line of action figures today.

I remember the turtle and the hare episode. They had to build some kind of portal to other dimensions and they get the rabbit from tortoise and the hare when they go to the fairytale dimension. It was in Easter and Bepop and Rocksteady only use the bunny suits for a couple scenes until Bebop says Ah shoot; these disguises are fooling nobody! And then they return to their normal get ups

NECA’s TMNT 1990 movie 4 Turtles, are the best Action figures ever made and enough for me. Great video! I’ve come across mostly all of these (except Lootcrate exclusives) and have the ones I liked most, but I’ll say to collectors, none are worth the high price when NECA A. most likely Re-issues them and B. They are all about making affordable collectable Action figures.

I just got into collecting and I paid $60 for the Turtles in Time Donatello because for some reason he's twice as expensive as Mikey and Ralph. :/ Collecting these figures is already a nightmare since I don't even have a Target near me. I'm kind of glad there's only a few characters left from the Turtles franchise that I want figures of. I don't know how anyone keeps up with this line, unless they're super rich.

I found the Turtles in Disguise pack of 4 turtles at a Target store about 2 weeks ago. Take off the jacket and pants and you have a set of dark skinned turtles. And proof that these can still be found “in the wild”

This is why it bugs me when reviewers put everything else down because NECA has the best quality. Aftermarket prices on these are insane, you need a six figure salary to fund your collection. Meanwhile Playmates still makes sets at retail that can be found for $10 each and people dump on them for the quality completely ignoring cost and availability. I have never seen any of these figures at my local shops.

The 2012 show is great, I agree! The 2003 show is the most awesome show imho because it was mostly based upon the original Mirage Comics! There are some added extra creative twists to the 2003 show like the added "twisted Utroms" and Purple Dragons regulars, other that that it's fairly faithful to Mirage Comics. Check out some of the Mirage Comics one shots like Michaelangelo compared to episode 65 (season 3, episode 1) "The Christmas Aliens".

Love the 2012 and 2k3 series so very much. The 87 series goes without saying since I started watching that one at around age 6 in the early early 90s. All three have their own unique charm. Seriously tried picking a favorite over the years, but could never ultimately make a decision.
