I’m new to this, but just got a cheetah 2.0 and 2 days later modding an ultra 4 to shoot nearly as far and hard 😆 way more satisfying and funny (don’t own a cronograph so no numbers)

just an fyi for those who use the red thread locker. If you add some heat to it then it comes out more easily. a soldering iron to the screw head for a bit should give enough heat for it to come out easily

Honestly I just wish they made the Ultra blasters shoot elite darts to begin with. Cool design style ruined by the ammo type.

I think the ammo is fine, it's the d*mn price. 50cents a dart. Math: .50cents x 100darts = 50$ for 100 darts. Now hasbrow just lies with the ultra 3, holds 5 advertised darts, comes with 5 darts, actually holds 8 darts without compressing the spring more than supposed to.

Well now you've gotta try and find or build a pair of speed loaders for these. Sure it'll have to fit around the back-end of the shell and thus not load the last few, but getting round about 80% of the cylinder loaded in a moment would be fantastic and look cool.

this gives me hope for the future :) mine is a Jam O Matic and Ive gotten no more than 3 shots, no matter how carefully, slowly, or even quickly I make sure to pull the trigger fully, there will always be a jam where a dart doesnt get caught by the flywheels and the cylinder tries to rotate and can't. this kit may be the solution. Is there somewhere that has an all up cost? looks like the guys that make this kit don't have any sort of price list without bothering them with PMs. I would also need to order motors, voltage regulator and wheels separately as well? trying to see if I can justify the cost lol

Hopefully this kit is compatible with Ultra Dorado as well, but the grip heel might not fit due to Durado's grip design.

When the cap does a cylinder dump, the cylinder looks really neat, it's hard to describe what it does

Right?! You can't really see the cylinder rotate but you can see the darts moving so it looks like they are in some kind of a magazine and are feeding withing the cylinder rotate...at least that is how it looks to me.

I took my ultra 2 apart to take out the dart lock piece as I’ve heard it causes jams, and in doing so both the longer screws stripped out and I had to drill them both out :( was very upset. (I still got it out and the blaster still is put back together just fine so take that hasbro)

for hvz i would probably match this or a worker hurricane as a secondary to a springer (especially half dart springers) Semi Auto full dart sidearms and with the rear loading hurricane mags Walcom showed both could be easily topped off Hurricane is smaller and faster to load with magazines but slower to top off (even with the rearloading mod) Ultra 2 elite Larger more capacity but slower to fill from empty. opinions/feedback are of course welcome

Xavier you should use either outofdarts or containment crews in one of the ultra twos and then use metal wheels in the other ultra two and then do enough for science video to see which is better

No...well...if you put two half darts in each cylinder it might push the first one in...other wise no. If you extended the pusher that far it would block the cylinder from rotating.

You don't need to replace the flywheels...but you should? The stock wheels are designed for ultra darts, which are larger than elites so they don't work well with elites.

I was considering getting something similar at one point but the kit I found I thought it would be drop in but I'd need to re-wire the motors and I don't have the knowledge or equipment to do so. Just hope they come out with an elite equivalent to the ultra 2 at some point

You know, I'm not sure. I replaced the cage on all of might so I have no idea. I assume the replacement cages have the wheels closer together but I don't know that for sure.
