thanks, I had mine in storage for a few years, and forgotten about the batteries. I was concerned they would be all corroded, so I wanted to take them out ASAP. Turns out they weren't... just dead. Lucked out.

Thank you for this. We were given one and someone had put the battery compartment in the wrong way. It was stuck so had to take a bunch of screws out to remove it. Anyway once i put the batteries in it didn't do anything. I saw the part where you said the belt has to be in for it to work and that did it!

I've figured it out. Take it apart and spray wd-40 or any spray lubricant on the moving parts. Stick the bolt in and cock it, hold it back and lubricate any part that moved. Cock it a bunch of times until it moves smoothly. Wipe access lubricant and reassemble. This video helped a lot with the disassembling process.

thank you so much. I found one at an op shop/ thrift store and I thought it was just a single shot then when I typed it up I was vids of it being full auto but i didn't know where to put the batteries.

I installed fresh batteries but it didn’t work. But when I put my friend’s battery tray in it did work.

too bad they always have to use these really obscure battery types. I bet you the next automatic nerf blaster will require lithium ion batteries. Seriously though, I'm sure a 9 volt battery would be enough to power this for probably a good 20-30 belts of foam darts
