Second Dinner just posted the patch notes for today's update, and it includes some big changes. There are numerous nerfs to important meta cards, some cool new visuals, and lots of quality-of-life changes.

So, I think people are confused. There will still be boosters in the collection level path. You just can no longer get them from Caches/Reserves, you will get tokens instead. I saved 4k credits for the update and didn't receive a single reserve with boosters, however multiple with tokens. That being said, there's still the booster items that you get either 1/3 or 2/3 of the way on to your next reserve. Edit: I'm Collection Level 1360, so my reserves are still 12 levels apart. I believe this gap gets longer as you get to Collection Level 2000 or so.

Actually you can get them from caches, at least on pc. The patch seems to be a buggy disaster and cashes can also give you nothing even on guaranteed cards.

I just got 40 spectrum boosters from a cache, something is wrong

I'm kinda sad the token shop doesn't even appear if your CL is too low. Would be nice to have the opportunity to lock in your first choice while you're climbing rather than wait to hit 500 only to see M'baku for 8hrs.

Looking forward to this! I'm just shy of 450, and damn Bucky Barnes does not want to drop for me. Watch him be my literal last card from Pool 2, heh. Really want to try a Destroy deck, but I know he's really good in it. Very curious to see what the next season will have. I've been playing SNAP a lot more than Hearthstone lately, dunno if the expansion is going to change that, we'll see.

It doesn’t rotate immediately when bought just fyi for all. Still gotta wait unfortunately. Also, I’ve gotten collector tokens twice now from caches so it seems to be working correctly on my end.

Did anyone else have issues opening cache’s? My first collector’s cache after the update didn’t show a card or anything being earned, my currencies and tokens didn’t increase either.

So just to make sure I’m understanding the change, onslaught will basically double the original effect? So like if you have onslaught, mystique, and iron man, will it double the original power twice and then add those values together?

1 onslaught -> 2x other ongoing effects, 2 onslaughts -> 4x, 3 onslaughts -> 6x

glad they're changing the bad luck thing. I'm level 906 and all I got were Rogue, Hazmat, Patriot, Human Torch, Omega Red, Crossbones, Captain Marvel, Typhoid Mary, Rescue, Hellcow, Gambit, Adam Warlock, Daredevil, Mystique, Giganto, Viper, Juggernaut, Black Cat, Quinjet, Colleen Wing, The Hood, Brood, Polaris, Arnim Zola, Spider Man, Mojo, and Kingpin. That is a long list. In short, ~350 levels of cards that I can't build entirely around. Some solid cards, but none you make a deck for. Which is upsetting.

My favorite deck involves onslaught mystique mr fantastic and Omega. Didn’t eat up animation time and gave crazy numbers if you played around shenanigans and drew the right cards. Was far from perfect but did well in raw number games. I know this isn’t an airport but this one makes me kind of want to depart.

I think the destroyer nerf is a little bigger than some people are thinking. 4 4 power cards = 16 power which is a pretty notable break point for zoo decks

Sorry, Wong is the missing piece of that conversation. He doubles your On Reveal effects, and would scale like crazy with Onslaught Mystique.

They should've reworked Mysterio instead of nerfing him. Give the illusions an abillity so they can't get buffed by Patriot, and the abillity would be: "If this is destroyed, give the real Mysterio -1 power" that way people also wouldn't just be destroying illusions.
