Maybe this is a hot take, but I do think the cinematic being a bit bland/filler is perfect for Ansurek's arc: she was given power, enablement and limelight. Only to fall short, used as an obstacle/vanguard for us to overcome, to realise she was just a disposed Pawn on Xal'atath's Chess board, and having a meaningless end when her forces failed. It's lackluster for us as watchers, yet thematically perfect for the character.

It might be early copium but considering she is slated to be an important character in all three expansions, it would not be improbable that she will play a role similar to Illidan or Azshara (against N'zoth). Well, Azshara is something else and if she helped N'zoth even after his liberation, event would have turned differently. Azshara is really strong and cunning. And N'Zoth need her or at least wanted her a his side. Because of that, he didn't wanted her to die. So yes the strong survive, either by their own, or because they are valuable and we still want them at our side alive. Ansurek on the other hand... Her value was, not enough. It's incomparable.

I hope we get a story about what happens next, etc. I also hope that the 11.0.5 patch also brings TWW content and is not just another gap filler to live up to their statement of delivering things faster than we can use them. I was thinking more about story and lore than about all the other stuff. Because how are they supposed to fill the next patches with meaningful stories etc. that take us forward. I can't think of anything at the moment. E.g. Raid for 11.1, who should be the boss then? Iridikron is only coming back with The Last Titan. I'm very skeptical at the moment and currently it's a great addon but with the short stories currently saved in the wrong place.
