Plot is interesting. The 3 younger characters are not likeable at all. Akilan is vindictive and selfish in punishing his parents who showered him with love and affection. They could have left him in the orphanage. Of course they were not perfect but they are his parents. Moreover depriving his country of two honest politicians. His younger siblings are mean to him though they grew up with him yet he forgives and accepts them. Therefore I could not appreciate their romance. The telling is too dragging and messy. Doesn't flow smoothly. The reader's voice is pleasant but the reading itself is monotonous making it difficult to enjoy listening. I didn't get to the end cos couldn't be bothered about the younger characters except Shri. The older characters were much more interesting. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. But thank you all the same for your efforts. Will listen/read another story by author to ensure this is not just a bad apple.😊 🙏🏾
