anyway. this seems like a direct opposite to becoming potatoes in terms of message; while that song kind of promoted becoming lazy and listless, this describes a person who, seeing the disgusting things in the world, decided to waste their life away by doing reckless things like "jumping into a dirty dumpsite" and "getting dead drunk". what's really interesting is that both songs have the singer be mad at themselves for engaging in this type of lifestyle and yet they won't or can't stop. thanks neru for yet another song thats making me rethink everything i'm doing in my life and whether it will lead to anything.

Ok, I haven’t looked at the comments yet. So keep in mind that this is just my interpretation. I think this song is about some one who is fed up with society, as well as the people who mindlessly fit into it. Most people love to praise things that are very complicated and intricate, when in reality, we are still very simple minded creatures. That’s why it is so infuriating when others act like they are above people due to their social standing. So many people are conditioned to worship society’s standards and the people who make them. This song is telling us to just say “screw it” and not conform. It’s like when a little kid talks as if they are an expert on something, when their parent explained it to them once with no context. The result is entitlement and complacency, which the song is angry with and is poking fun at. Now, please proceed to tell me how off base I am below.
