I have chronic neuralgia pain on my right side only. I suffered from an iatrogenic injury to my right SAN nerve over two years ago. I have been diagnosed by a couple of specialists with occipital neuralgia. I suspect I have splenius capitis syndrome as my pain is chronic in that area near the splenius capitis or my SCM. I know the lesser occipital nerve runs through this area and nerve blocks have provided me relief. Would I be a good candidate for a lesser occipital nerve release?
