Nerve impulse is a wave of electro-chemical change that passes along the membrane of nerve cells. In this lecture video the detailed events are discussed that found in membrane when the neuron is present in resting state and there is no conduction of nerve impulse. This is also called resting membrane potential. How the membrane potential developed and what factors that maintained the resting state of neuron all are the part of this lecture.
