Batman Arkham Asylum is basically a metroidvania. as you get new tech throughout the game you can explore new areas and revisit old ones to find new things. very fun.

Damn, Max called out my favorite episode of Batman: TAS. That Clayface episode gave me a wierd existential crisis when I was like 10! There were sone great moments in that series and Batman Beyond. Cartoons nowadays pull too many punches.

5:45 Batman killed the joker and turned himself in the injustice comics, but it was all a dream sequence by Superman. Best batman villains outside of the joker are Poison Ivy, Bane, and Mr. Freeze

Favorite Batman villain for me... If I had to choose an overall favorite it would have to be Riddler for sure, always love watching he and Batman having battles or wits. If I had to pick a newer one though, I'd say Great White Shark. Hell On Earth is a very fun limited series and I loved the gradual transformation the character had from simple conman to true "super villain."

The Arkham series isn't really a beat em up. The combat system is closer to a rhythm game then a beat em up.
