Legacy of the Wizard is crazy nostalgic to me as I had it when I was a kid and also a very intricate game. Strongly misunderstood if you ask me. The manual is definitely a must for this game.

I’m actually glad Erin decided to play the sports games. I’m not usually into sports games, but some of these have looked really fun like that Little League Baseball game!

Sometimes when Erin refers to her RSI / hand pains I want to suggest that she tries out using a high grade arcade stick (possibly on the MiSTer, so it can be used on any console). Hitting big buttons with finger tips and moving a smooth lever around between fingers is so much more ergonomic and naturally comfortable.

I've tried arcade sticks in the past but it's hard for me to get use to using one for platformers. But yeah, I should definitely practice with one and incorporate them more into my playing.

You should give Little Ninja Brothers another chance. You only played the mini-game. The main game is an action RPG where the random encounters are beat-em up style fights. It was apparently successful enough to get sequels on the Game Boy and SNES.

No, Erin! No! Stop dissing Cosmic Spacehead! Or Linus Cosmic Adventure. Codemasters really believed in that game. No one bought it. Except for me. I think I had it on Master System. It’s so good though. All you do is solve some simple puzzles and some light platforming. It’s a great game. So is that bee game by Codemasters.

@@ErinPlaysExtras it’s not trash Erin. It’s just this oddball hybrid game about a world made out of linoleum and I guess there’s some kind of silly story. I didn’t get far honestly. I got stick on the sewers and lost all my lives. If you decide to play it, it’s on Mega Drive. Then save state before the sewers. The other thing I feel you are depriving yourself of is playing onto Lemmings a bit more. I think you would enjoy it. Just look at you lemmings skills and see how many of each you have to spend to get a hint on how to complete the level. You were just short of figuring that out. Oh yeah and if you mess up or finish the level but used blockers press the nuke button.

Erin OMG! PLAY MANIAC MANSION!!!!! you will not be disappointed!!!!!! It is my favorite game from my childhood BUT the COMMODORE 64 version. It will blow your mind. Commodore 64 version is far superior in my opinion for a few different reasons. 1 the graphics. 2 there's no music so it makes it waaaaay creepier/scarier for halloween purposes. 3 the screens are all longer so you have to click more to see the whole room which adds to the suspense. For example, in the nintendo version, you can see the whole screen you are on in each room/situation. But in the C64 version, there may be things waiting for you further down the room that you are not expecting. I also find the soundtrack on the nes version to be rocking for a minute, but it just floods the game with unnecessary noise and it gets annoying quickly. And this is coming from a musician who LOVES nes, snes, soundtracks. I'm telling ya, Erin, if you want the only way to truly experience this game, you MUST play the Commodore 64 version. Helpful hint: in the beginning you will have to choose 2 other characters/friends to accompany Dave (Sandy's boyfriend) on the search rescue squad. It's good to choose Bernard as one of them. Syd and Razor are identical. Jeff is borderline worthless stay away from him. Wendy or Michael are options and similar too. So what i'm saying is, DONT pick BOTH syd and razor or Wendy and Michael. Do like a combination. So choose like Razor and Bernard. Or Syd and Bernard. Or Wendy and Syd. Or Michael and Bernard. Or Michael and Syd. I really hope you see this and it helps you. And I really hope you go thru with it and experience this outstanding game. My first system was Commodore 64 and then I got Super Nintendo and GameBoy. All my friends had nes and i didn't hahaha. What i'm getting at is it may just seem like nostalgia factor, but it isn't. This is such a great game i can't even begin to describe. Peace out
