My stupid sexy flanders PTSD comes back from this game. Also, what psycho Lets their kids build snowmen and sled in the middle of a ski mountain. That’s like building LEGO’s and riding s tricycle in the middle of a highway.

Nothing at all! NOTHING AT ALL! Seriously though, this looks like one of the better early NES games. The scrolling is smooth, the control looks sharp, and the butt cheeks lovingly drawn. Well, that's not really a selling point, but you can't help but notice.

Despite the fact that Slalom for NES was published by Nintendo, there was no re-release for subsequent consoles from the same company, therefore Rare and Microsoft re-released the game as part of the Rare Replay collection for Xbox One.

This game was one of THOSE games that made me say "NO THANKYOU. GO AWAY!" to an nes game.. You spend the whole game w/ your skier's orange butt glaring at you off n on for a minute or two as your character smashes into stupidly fast oncoming scenery that the programmers thought would be fun to add. Sonny Bono probably rolls in his grave when this game is played or shown on video.
