Jerry's face is also kinda amusing. But unfortunately no Tuffy appearance, we are all scammed by the box art and title. Tuffy is just in the introduction intro and rescue scene that's all. He is not playable

Same here. Back in early 90s me and my brother were so happy to get this game because we were huge fans of Tom & Jerry cartoons. But we found the game a bit too tricky and weird. I did much better when I tried to play it as an adult though, but still not near as amazing as this guy. His timing is excellent!

Back in the late 80's-early 90's there was a trend where classic cartoon characters all had to dress "cool". I still remember the t-shirts of Looney Tunes and even Mickey Mouse dressed up in "gangsta" and even "grunge" clothing. :)

I used to have this game back in the day, almost 30 years ago. Really loved it, since it wasn't that hard. Probably played through the game dozens of times. Was great to see and hear it again. My copy is unfortunately lost, only the cover and booklet is left. Looks like a pretty solid game when i see it now.

This is because they had fewer sounds and channels and they had to focus on making good and catchy melodies, I always said that and I'll always love old games music because of that. Nowadays we have some horrible sounding ambient music and generic sounding soundtracks that will rarely get stuck on your head.
