And that's why the developer chose to go with the pro set formation with L.A. They're the only team on the game running that formation. But I definitely respect that decision to do so

You're probably thinking of Tecmo Super Bowl, which was the sequel. This is the original. TSB improved a lot of little things in the game and it's much more fondly remembered.

Why do you insist in running in-between the tackles on Run2 when clearly your lane is along outside? You avoid more defenseman that way. Also, when you are playing with NY on defense, you need to select LT. He is the fastest on the team and can help stop Bo Jackson and Walter Peyton.
