I know this game in and out. My friends kid tried to play it with me and he said it was too hard. And then he watched me beat it flawlessly 31 years later while listening to its badass soundtrack! Oldschool games are no joke kids 😂

I come back here, listen to this every now and then I miss playing this game. It's soundtrack, had no reason to go this hard.

I remember the night I got this game. My parents had gotten my brother and me an NES for Christmas of 1990. Our other brother got us this game and Metal Gear. I wanted to play Super Mario Brothers, since it's what I know, but my brother, being familiar with this game from an arcade machine, wanted to play it first. I'm glad he did because I immediately fell in love with the music. Today I'm willing to put up with bad music if the game is otherwise good, but back in the day music was a make or break deal.

Possum Ridge Entertainment one of the greatest 8-bit soundtracks of all time. I think we got it the same year. My Dad was the best at this game. He still loves it.

I have vivid memories of playing this in October 1989. That time period was magical

I remember playing this game as a kid, it was hard as shit but I always loved the music in it and that's what kept me coming back to it. Finding out now it was Tim Follin who made the music makes perfect sense. Guy could single handedly turn mediocre or shit games into fun ones because you'd focus on getting to the next stage to hear another banger.

I was given this game for Christmas of '89. It has pretty long bgm loops for an NES game. It's a good thing, too, considering how many hours it took to get good enough to make it to the second level.

Good music, pretty good game, I just don't understand why they swapped A and B around. Personally, that makes the game much harder to play.

Compare this soundtrack to 1942 for NES 😂
