We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.

👋 I use Citric acid ( it's used in Lemonade ) 2 large tablespoons pre desolved in a half cup hot water, add to some cold water then put it in your tank, don't put hot water in the tank, descale as in this video, don't waste the collected liquid just pour it into your kettle and leave for 20 mins then rinse 🙂

@@chrispowell4386 Exactly! My tea kettle instructions recommend using 50/50 white vinegar and water. Boil the mix, let it sit overnight, pour it out in the morning and rinse.

Useful tip: Our tap water is very hard so I use bottled water in my coffee machine and do not get limescale. The machine still shows an orange light now and then, so I go thru' the routine without scale remover. It's just a dumb machine after all. If it plays up, then I'll descale.

I tried everything then I found some bicarbonate of soda to rinse it through,, This did the trick,, finally a coffee!!😂

Is the rinsing tool a new addition to the machine? I've had mine for a few years and never had a rinsing tool.

They usually came with the product, however i lost mine and made another one by hollowing out a used pod and knocking out the bottom where the liquid comes out. Be sure to gut out all the plastic inside the pod though.

All sounds simple enough, but mine won’t even let the descaling solution through. I tried to call the hotline yesterday but couldn’t find a number, so I emailed them and they came straight back saying they will not be responsible for issues where you have not carried out descaling. I can’t de scale, so not sure what to do now ... any ideas????

Mandy Jones at the back of your machine behind the water container there’s this little pin on the bottom left that you can use to clean anything blocking where the coffee comes out of. I had the same problem but mine works now

If you have trouble getting descaler just use vinegar fill water container with 50/50 water and vinegar. might need to go through twice if very.

@@kieramcgregor I normally use the proper descaler but if you do not have it and the machine is not working properly the vinegar does the job I have used both over 5/6 years I have had my machine.

@@kieramcgregor Do you live in the Uk if so go to the Dolce Gusto site they sell it and flavours of coffee that you can buy in the shops When you do find it after you have finished pour it into your empty kettle magic then pour it into a container and put your shoer head in it Get a lot for your money that way 😊

Yep, if you don't have the eedle which comes with the coffee maker, stick a fine/thin safety pin up the coffee maker's nozzle - a few cm - or as far as you can stick it (ooh matron 🤭), then pour boiling water from the kettle into the reservoir and turn the coffee maker on and switch to hot, that should melt and blast anything that may be lodged in the hole (oh la la 🤭). Let all the water rinse out, the when the reservoir is empty, pour descaler liquid into reservoir and fill with hot water and follow the descaling process - your tubes will be unblocked in no-time (stop it...😊).

I used oust multi purpose descale from wilko. You can use wilko own which is only £1. I followed this video exactly but just using oust instead. Loads of limescale lumps came falling out. Buy a filter jug and only use filtered water and this won't happen again

Use natural way : Lemon salt+ white vinegar + baking soda repeat process twice and repeat it once normal water finished .😊
