I've had a Nespresso Vertuo machine for 5 years. I just purchased this model & I think because I'm very familiar with the pods, I had no problem understanding how to use them with the Lattissima. Once you jump the pod hurdle this model is amazing!

Awesome video - thanks for making this. Sticking with coffee, cappuccino, and lattes - do you think this is a better choice than something like the Phillips latte go you reviewed ? This seems to make a pretty nice coffee with way less things to maintain than the super automatics? Any advice much appreciated

I noticed you said that you could store the milk container in the fridge, but Nespresso says you have to disassemble and clean it after each use. It seems like having to take it apart to clean every time cancels out the convenience of the integrated frother. What do you think?

It depends which machine you have, This one has a rinse cycle you should use after each use. No need to clean it every time. I know with other machines you should take them apart and clean them

@@thegreatjacksby7904 , yes. It’s this one that they recommend taking apart and they demo how to disassemble the milk steamer. That’s why it didn’t make sense to me.

If you stored the milk steamer portion in the fridge with milk more than 24hrs that is the only time you take it apart and clean it. Since milk can go bad fast. The rise cycle can handle a fast rinse per use of the mill steamer.

I had the Vertuo Creatista (the most expensive machine in their Vertuo line). I exchanged the machine 3 times and all 3 had the same issue, they leaked from the bottom. Thankfully Nespresso’s customer service is stellar so they gave me a credit for what I spent. I was debating on getting a Creatista Pro but as a Cuban coffee drinker I like my coffee strong and I don’t think I can get that from the smaller Original line pods. Great video! **can you tell me where you got that cool glass container with the French vanilla?**

What's your milk temp at on the first use of the day. Mine is at about 125F on first use and about 130 on 2nd use. This is way below the standard 140-155F. Nespresso claims these low temps are normal but my latissima pro heats to 145F and the aeroccino to 150F.

I cannot seem to find a comparison between a Nespresso machine and a Keurig Smart. I'd love to see a glass comparison between the strongest strengths, as well as for the Keurig Smart and the Single Serve Latte Machine. I'm stuck in what machine to get next- Nespresso, Keurig Smart, or a traditional non-pod espresso machine.

There is. A small door on the back holds the spout but you need to remove the water holder to access it. Not as convenient as the older Lattissima Pro but it’s there.

I had bought this machine and when it arrived it was faulty unfortunately, When i got it swapped for a new one. I sometimes have problems with it saying its Overheating even on the first pour. Its a great machine, but i'm having a little trouble.
