This video has helped me in the past. However, this time I cleaned the entire machine with cotton tips (even dipped them in the descaling solution to assist), lightly sprayed it with water to help rinse all the coffee out, and even put a pin in the head where the coffee comes out (as suggested in the comments). I tried absolutely everything, but it simply still would not work. I unplugged it many times, and everytime it turned back on it’d be flashing orange still. Tried a factory reset, then it’d just flash red. If I locked it and pressed the button, it’d flash red then turn white again as if it’s ready to make coffee? But then it’d flash red again if I pressed it. After a while, I ended up just getting it to the stage where it would turn white, put a coffee capsule inside, pressed the button and IT WORKED!!! Once the machine realised it could actually spin/work properly, I put it back into descaling mode and surprise surprise, it worked. What a shit machine.

I tried all the things suggested in the video and nothing worked. I thought it was a goner. UNTIL I saw someone’s comment about sticking a pin in the needle of the spinning disk. That did the trick! It was all gumpy and crusted. Fun fact, I actually used a water pic flosser to clean the rotating disk and the needle. It cleaned it all very well!

I'm leaving this comment in case anyone needs some more tips in case the video is not enough for your problem. I have the same Nespresso machine and this video already saved me twice. Last time I had trouble brewing coffee I tried everything in the video, but nothing would work. I even cleaned the rotating component until there was not a single stain of coffee. It was until I heard the Nespresso was actually working but something was still interfering with the brewing. So I pressed the brew head slightly and it started working! In that moment I realized there was some coffee grain in the sealing ring. I just needed to get some water in it and with the heat of the machine the problem would be solved.

OMG! It WORKED!!! I had problems with the machine not pumping out the coffee or water. So all I did was use the qtips and cleaned the inside and now IT WORKS!!!

Thanks for this. I had the same problem. It was infuriating me as to why it wouldn’t work. I never would have thought to clean the gunk from the wheel. It was amazing how much build up was there. I have de-gunked and it seems to be working fine now. Thanks for the tip.

I tried everything here but still couldn't get it to work. Then I noticed the needle where the water comes out was clogged, so I stuck a pin in it and cleaned it out. Success!

Also one other thing you can do, take a paper clip and use it to clear coffee debris directly inside the brew head (the part that punctures directly into the middle of the pod). Thanks for the vid!

Thank you for thia video! My spin head was stuck! Cleaned the head and the center poker (like the comments suggested).... still red blinky... unplugged and replugged.. still blinky... ran half a cleaning mode and its working great again!

Thank you! Another tip, when it won't brew properly & the pod is ejected, the pod is filled with water and makes a horrible mess. Empty the pod chamber immediately, then follow the instructions on this video.
