Ness Crew Running On Half Capacity After Excavator Breaks Down

The Ness crews’ 700 excavator grinds to a halt after one of the carry rollers seizes up. Having to use the 480 excavator instead means the crew are running at half capacity and being so far up north it could take two weeks for a replacement roller to arrive.

Something about it it’s not all fake made up drama, I know they exaggerate things sometimes or make drama out of say Parker and Tony’s relationship when really they get on well and help each other!! for the size of both machines they could have swapped buckets if they lined up and been just fine especially loading loose dirt it wouldnt be an issue.

the best part about this is that he puts a small box he can hold with one hand in the bed of his trunk like its a huge load rather then just put it on his back floor

rollers don't have grease nipples. they are a sealed unit. grease makes dirt and gravel stick.

Its got 3 right? Swap it with the middle one and tighten the track up...should get you buy....dont see why this would stop production anyway unless it was kicking the track off

I was thinking the same thing..... the middle one doesnt carry near the load the end ones do, run the track a little tight and let the track slide...when you dont have time you cant waste it.

Regardless of who says what ~ a great show with real people. TonyB his Team is the key factor, but the rest have become ‘family’ by now... The best guy of the lot is ‘the Prospector Engineer’ who always sorts out everyone’s trouble. Are’nt many like him around...most certainly.

Roller stopping tracks is bullshit lol. Been working with tracks for decades, never had a roller bearing breakdown that can actually stop the tracks. Mostly the roller wears out untill sum1 notices the bearings gone. Good to watch, im a huge fan of gold rush.

I love these certain ounce “goals” they talk about.... and it’s do or die if the don’t make those “goals” on this show.... anyone one of these mining crews could mine all season long and produce no gold and just break even with the money they make off discovery channel.... a network that makes them recreate dramatic scenarios or create fake ones if necessary by request of the discovery producers.... so this make or break gold goal is just another manufactured fucking lie made by a tv network that used to teach the youth about science and now they sell their souls for ratings... absofuckinglutely disgraceful!
