Ridiculous thing of Chris Doumitt to say they lost 15 ounces, he did not know how long the sluices were packed with silt, it could have been 8 hours, 2 hours, he didn't know. So they could have lost 100 ounces for all he knew.

I honestly don't understand why they never do this.. every time something happens that throws all the gold out the sluce, they are just mad over the lost gold, but this gold didn't just disappear into space, its in the tailings, not even that far. They could just collect it and wash it again. Even when everything is running normally, I would alwas take from time to time a bit from the tailings and let it run through the plant a second time.. isn't that much work and can really do a change.
