Love the ideas of different size of clothing in different drawers and keeping the baby clothes for future. That blind is a good one too.

I've been wondering why more families don't just buy a pack'n'play and fit a baby mattress into it instead of buying a crib AND a pack'n'play. I imagine people just haven't thought of it! The pack'n'play worked great for our first one and we're going to use it again this time. The major bonus is that pack'n'plays are actually harder for babies to climb out of! Big bonus for us. 😆 Plus, you can get pack'n'plays used really easily and wash and spray them down with rubbing alcohol. My only note is that the one I ended up with was older, so it didn't fit exactly to a crib or pack'n'play mattress and sheets. We bought a foam crib mattress from IKEA and I trimmed it down. When I tuck the crib sheets under, they stay put really well, and the mattress lifts baby up to where the walls are just mesh, so I've never been worried about suffocation hazards. ❤

I LOVE your quiet me-time evening routine!! Every new mama needs something like that. I like that you're is built right into the schedule. 😊 It's VERY IMPORTANT to know that your physical bone structure changes during pregnancy to accommodate the baby coming out. Your hips are now permanently wider. It is 1000% okay to never fit into your old size again because that size might not be a healthy size for you anymore.

Currently binge watching your pregnancy playlist at 28 weeks pregnant and omg I want to nest so much already! I know right now it’s pretty pointless as it will all need doing again closer to the time so the closest I’m getting right now is watching others nest and organise. Xx

Thank you so much for these videos! I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I haven't been able to do as much nesting yet as I've wanted to! It's made me abit sad but your videos have given me so much motivation and momentum to just go for it and do as much as I can. Thank you for your videos. New subbie! Xx

Our area rug in our bedroom used to move around a ton but we put a rug pad underneath and it helped a lot. It still moves around some, but we have to fix it way less often

The blackout shade you put up also comes in white and beige and are great when you first move in to a new place, and can’t decide on what type of curtains you want. But….2 years later and mine are still up!😬

Love to see you have jeans on! I’m 37 weeks and cannot wait to wear jeans (have more than 1-3 items to wear) even if it’s paired with an oversized sweater to nurse baby!

Hahaha! I hated wearing jeans until I couldn’t! I was so excited to get back into them. I TOTALLY relate to only having 1-3 items to wear by the end. I was living in 1 pair of leggings or my husbands sweats 😂

I figured I didn't need a manual breast pump since I'm getting an electric one, but actually that is really smart. Our electricity goes out A LOT (idk if this city just has a crappy power grid or what) and I didn't even think of what I'd do in that case. Just added a manual pump to my registry.

I hadn’t thought of it either! The peace of mind was definitely worth the price for me, but I will say that I’ve never used it

You can keep the wipes in that pack. They stay warm and don’t dry out that way.

Can u do a review on your bedside bassinet ?
@AllisonMcPhail2 жыл бұрын
I’ll be sharing more about the bassinet and the bedside nursery in my next video! Long story, short: it serves its purpose, but there’s a different bassinet that I’m going to buy for our next baby!

How many clothes did she actually wear her first month and the 3-6 months.
@AllisonMcPhail2 жыл бұрын
She slept in zip up onesies and spent the day in basic onesies! We definitely went through a bunch of onesies a day though because of spit up + blow outs. She only wore "outfits" a few times
