You could add a hanging shoe organizer on the back of the bedroom door, great storage for blankets, sheets, sleep sacks, etc. That would definitely free up some dresser drawers space.

Now that you have the playroom, moving the baby toys out of Sean’s room and the linen closet in the hallway would give you more space to work with. Then you could move the extra blankets and sheets out of the nursery and into the hall linen closet. I also liked to keep a thin plastic bin underneath the crib for extra storage in my kids nursery. Using a rolling cart next to the dresser or a diaper caddy on top of the dresser would give you more space to store things like diapers, wipes, nail file, socks, and burp clothes without having to replace your dresser. Frees up more space in the dresser for baby girl’s clothes too.

Were going to have our 4th girl in a couple weeks (our oldest is 5) and we have 2 smaller 5 drawer dressers and 2 closet racks for all 4 of them to share😂 i think your setup for your 2 will be fine❤ thanks for sharing with us ❤

I would recommend once you get rid of the bins in the closet, get those inexpensive clear drawers from Walmart or Target with wheels to be able to move as a second cheap dresser for extra clothing

Pairing down the hand-me-downs is so hard! I try to ask myself, "Would I buy/thrift this outfit again in this condition?" Decluttering can be emotionally taxing, be gentle with yourself. 🙌

Was (positivel) surprised to see how your kids were playing independantly and all by themselves in their room. Do they do that a lot? You can clear out a whole drawer by putting a nappy caddy on top of the dresser next to the change mat 😊 would also be convenient to take around the house upstairs.

Ikea has a lot of good storage solutions. Maybe you can put a Trofast unit in the closet and it will help collect some of the stuff

Get a diaper caddy and place it beside the change pad on the dresser and that will free up another drawer for you. You can put all the diapers, creams, combs etc….
