Hi Jamie- love your videos, you are a very generous soul, thank you for sharing your knowledge and ideas so freely! Just wanted to let you know, that after some searching- I think I found those elusive "Bonny Bowls"- only they're now under "Sweet Creations"- and they're blue! Both companies are owned by the same parent company, they share style and dimensions with each other, and the set I ordered (from Amazon- search "Sweet Creations Mixing Bowls"- I paid $13 for the set, but, they're higher today) are truly round. Hope it helps someone!

Could this be done with mixing bowls that have a flattened bottom? Bonny Bowls are impossible to find.

okhomestead yes, I know they are tough. See comments below regarding how to find them now. Yes, you could use bowls with a flat bottom...you might like them better! :-)

Hi Jamie, nice video. Stupid question, but obviously these plaster molds are not for slip casting. Are they used to drape a clay slab over?

They are for draping and slumping. :-)

Easier to weigh the bucket empty, then with the water.

The weight of the water at that stage doesn't match the amount needed - it's too much. I've heard 80% of it is the magic number but I really haven't tested that out.
