Hey Marc, I have been looking at all different woodworking channels and found yours recently and I believe you have the best channel out there. I have subscribed and started from the beginning watching all of the videos and I’m up to the cross cut sled from 2011, fantastic. I have been reading the comments as well and I have to tell you that you are very patient. I can’t believe how many idiots, complainers, and “experts” you had to deal with while providing them with expert advice for free. I hope it’s gotten better. Thanks for sharing.

Great idea on cutting the dados in the circles. I had not though of using plywood base. These tables turned out beautiful.

Your detailed, to the point, chilled explanation of your process really makes this daunting looking project ( looked difficult to me anyway lol ) much more feasible to me and gives me a lot of confidence in trying stuff like this.

Nice. Unique with the ring and I love the fact that you used one species for the legs and a different wood species for the rails...a nice look. Ring is a very nice touch as well.

Now that is a very nice pair of tables. Great wood choice. Excellent finish, subtle. Love the details. Only drawback is personal. I don't care for nested tables, so I would make two alike. Thank you for sharing.

I know this is a little bit off topic but when you were using your holla Chisel mortiser I noticed the Chisel was sideways exposed grill sideways is that a good way to do it or does it really not matter which way the Chisel is in .Plus the tables fantastic you are a real craftsman and I really enjoy watching your show

Would a mix of beeswax and mineral oil (cutting board finish) work for these tables? Making personal projects but not trying to break the bank.
@woodwhisperer4 жыл бұрын
Rolly 545 I wouldn’t recommend mineral oil on furniture. It never really cures. Boiled linseed oil would be a decent inexpensive option if oil and wax is what you’re after.
